Kakheti - The region is famous for its wine production and Viticulture. The method of wine production in Kakheti is principally different from European methods. More info on Georgian and Kakhetian wines here. Best time to visit Kakheti Region is autumn, during “Rtveli”, when Kakhetians collect grapes and prepare for wine making.
Bodbe Monastery - The Monastery of St. Nino at Bodbe is a Georgian Orthodox monastic complex and the seat of the Bishops of Bodbe located 2 km from the town of Sighnaghi
Sighnaghi - As is typical of Georgia, Sighnaghi is endowed with significant historic and cultural heritage sites. Its charming cobblestone streets and alleys, restored original nouveau woodwork, and detailed facades give the town a romantic mystique. Billed the City of Love, Sighnaghi is a popular wedding venue.

How was travelling with a small kid? Is it physically taxing, ups and down of historic town could be challenging?

Hi Aman - Thanks for your question. Travelling with kid (2 years) is always challenging and have limitations. We planned it early - which places to cover, plan b in case of plan a fails. Baby Pram are accessible everywhere. City roads are bit up & down but we managed to push the baby cart. In terms of baby food - we carried with us. We avoided night clubs & bars. We were travelling with a baby and elderly therefore we sticked to non adventurous places. To conclude - You can do it with a kid & will enjoy it . Enjoy your trip & safe travels.

Will we need a universal adapter in Georgia?

Yes - you will need. Don’t bother to buy it from home country. You can reach there and buy it from nearby shop. It’s very cheap. Also you can ask the hotel guys, sometimes they have extra. Enjoy your trip. Let me know if you need more details.

Hi Rai - We booked a Tour Guide. He was a local driver along with guide. He took us all over Georgia. Price were quite cheap. We took his service for 3 days. He picked us from Tbilisi Airport and dropped us in Kutaisi. He charged $350 for all 3 days. His name is Robo. You can WhatsApp him on +995-598420242. Feel free to comment if you have further questions. Thanks!
