Yessss 🙏🏼 Thank you for posting this. Georgia is a beautiful country. Finally, my city here in Florida got some Georgian wine. I’m so happy because it is my favorite❤️
Georgia is so beautiful and its beauty is even visibile in its wonderful wineries, a true treasure. Good food, wine and a friendly people is a great mix which undoubtedely contributes to live well. Thank you for sharing this great video.
Beautiful country, beautiful villages, beautiful wineries! I love good wine, different wine. I never knew wine was made using underground clay pots. I would like to try that kind of wine. Never saw bread shaped like a duck. I’d like to try that too. Thank you Slava and Lena for showing us this beautiful part of the world.
Learned a lot. Don't know anything really about wine. Except it's aged and the longer the better. Had never heard about aging clay pots and didn't know Georgia made wine so thank you!
Thanks for this video. The first time that I tasted Kindzmarauli from the Georgian Valleys it was love at first sight. Hope you do some more videos from the other regions on this beautiful country.
Yet another Excellent video tour. I do enjoy a glass of fine wine and will be looking for some of those featured in this great video. Georgia seems like a very nice place. Greetings from the USA, Southwest Florida. And thank you again.
Wonderful! Great video, we have to study more about this subject - maybe some time will get some Georgian wines here too! Well, it would be nice to visit there actually! Oh, have to say this video made an impact - found some products in our internet shop and ordered 6 bottles of wine immediately! :)
Slava I really enjoyed this video because you exposed me to a whole new part of Georgia I didn't even know existed! Plus I had no idea that Georgians have been making wine as long as they have, and in the interesting way that they do it. Just added another place to my Bucket List! LOL
2:53 - We LOVE us some Georgian wine in the US 💙🍇😎 11:35 - looks like an old Soviet car 😅 But I'll bet it's NOT, considering what you told us about USSR's effect on Georgian wineries at 22:01... Thank you for this VERY informative tour, Slava 👍
I really love Georgian wines, but they can be hard to find in some parts of the US. I'm looking forward to finding more Georgian wines in my area, as the Georgian wine industry becomes more successful and expands to meet demand! A trip to Georgia is definitely on my "Bucket List" of places I MUST visit. What a beautiful country!
Good job Only knew about Georgia due to an NBA player named Zaza Pachulia. Also, MMA Champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov, is from that part of the world. That country seems to be the first to make wine so I will definitely try it as soon as I can, surprised they’re not advertised as such.
I live in Sonoma County CA which is an area well known for its wines and I really enjoyed getting to see inside the Georgian wineries and how the winemakers go about their process because it differs so much from CA in a number of ways. Really would love to get my hands on that first white wine you tasted in the video it looks amazing!
Beautiful video! I hope I can find Georgian wine! I had to laugh out loud at the comment about only Georgian men stomping grapes to keep the craziness from women out of the wine! Hilarious. 😛
Wonderful video, thank you. I have tried Askaneli and Pheasant's Tears amber. I love qvevri wine and share it with all my friends and family. I can only imagine how tasty the food is!

26:30 Interesting. I'd never heard of *Chacha (brandy).* It's made from the grape "solids" (skin, pulp, seeds, and stems) that remain after pressing for juice or wine.
Well done! You deserve many more views here and I am certain it’s a matter of time. 😉 In California we are doing our part to marry Georgian and Napa wine wine cultures

Chacha is a pomace brandy. Pomace is pretty much the leftovers of the grapes after wine making. It`s traditionally homebrewed by local Georgians.
Must've been tough driving after all the wine you drank. Cool video though!
you bet
Looks like your buddy CV is trolling you a bit, Slava 🤪
