Thank you David. I often have stuck valves 1 and 2 on my compensating tuba. I never knew about using the cloth to remove deposits at the top and bottom of the pistons. This has been very helpful and I avoided the need to give the entire instrument a bath.

So i unscrewed the valve what you use to push it down now i dont know how to get it back in
