    Slowly but surely you’re getting there! I self tune evos a lot and you’re in the right track! Play around with mivec! You’d be surprised how much of a difference it can make!

    9k rpm I absolutely ridiculous!! I had a 3076 previously, now I'm on a 60mm FP black with S2's and the spool is probly 500rpm later but it pulls so much harder. 560whp on E70

      Yeah his car was crazy I didn’t know it could rev to 9k every time I’d start muscling up I’d run out of rpm which is fine I’ll be evening the score badly next time lol

      I feel like a 40 roll both in 2nd gear would've been a great starting point. Also both of y'all should of been on E70 . From my experience rolling into boost gives the best outcome especially since you have a bigger turbo. Tune also has a lot to do with it because the bigger turbos like to be ramped up more aggressively.

    Have you been tuning your car yourself with the 6266?

  • @hondalution4476
    @hondalution4476 3 года назад

    you got a turbo that doesn't complement your build, because you're at like a 8 something compression ratio. you just need to go ahead and put 10 compression pistons in that block with some i or h beam rods, and with your head package you'll be at 10.5+ compression, then you'll spool that turbo more early on. you honestly thought that turbo kit would do you justice, but that shit literally put you backwards.

    • @studentdriverrs1043
      @studentdriverrs1043  3 года назад

      Uhh what no it did exactly what I wanted still a stock bottom end I wanted a later spool to keep the rods happy. I could spike the boost sooner to get better spool buuuut that would sacrifice the rods. This was also only of e50 so wasn’t even full boost and timing on the car. Only testing.

    • @Evoxdonii
      @Evoxdonii 2 года назад

      @@studentdriverrs1043 uhh you proved his point lol he said u need rods. U said you’re sacrificing spool to avoid sending a rod. why even “test it” if you knew it was a oversized turbo to begin with 😂 why not just rip the motor out and start building it. It would make more sense financially rather than blow it up.
