The end of this video is actually an eerily accurate depiction of what happens when someone suffering delusions/hallucinations "suddenly" does something "crazy" when in reality they've been behaving "crazy" for quite some time. The only thing is that most people with an outside, uneducated perspective also aren't willing to care for a mentally ill person (like how some people treat toddlers, the disabled, and elderly) so they just brush off any concerning behaviour that isn't a straight up offense with things like "ohh he's always been a little odd but thats just his sense of humour!" Meanwhile, there is a very clear train of thought that even a sane person than follow that lead the delusional person to do whatever they did - being able to follow and understand it doesn't mean you agree and would do the same, but it's weird how we seem to be afraid to admit that not all "insane" people either are rambling incoherently or behave like Patrick Bateman with no in-between or possibility of coming off as a relatively average, high-functioning person.
