What a frustrating back 9 for this card. They were deff vibin on the putting green, most of the time not in a good way. I can't remember seeing Ricky & Calvin missing so many inside the circle putts.
Especially since they have not had any players on the thumbnail all year on tournament rounds and they decide to do that now, and they put someone on it who isn’t on the card…
We should always listen to wise older players, but also take their advice with a grain of salt when necessary. This "well" analogy sounds like common sense, but I don't think it tracks. It's just as easy to say something like "the deeper you dig, the more you discover" or something like that. Which is to say you can dig deep to throw a great shot, and then use that momentum to continue to throw even greater shots for the rest of round. Don't get caught up on folk wisdom, play your game, try harder every throw, keep improving, don't think that you've used up your best throw earlier in the round, that a defeatist attitude.

Do you not have to mark everything with a mini? I see a lot of these guys tapping in or maybe 6ft not using a marker disc but just the back of their lie with their thrown disc.
Calvin is the most frustrating player of all time to watch, it actually hurts watching how bad he is at putting. Feels like every c1 putt is just a coin flip for him.
Between the amount of missed putts inside 30 feet and the total and complete lack of urgency, I just can't cheer for him anymore. He is too comfortable coming in 2nd (or anything other than 1st). He's has so many talents, but the field is too good to miss that many. I wouldn't be shocked if he is back on the lead card by the final round, but I guarantee you that if he is, he will shoot his worst round of the tournament.

I think that's why a lot of people like Calvin. I can relate my game to his. Driving is the best part of my game by far. He throws like me, putts like me. And dudes just professional, respectable.

Correct, you don’t have to mark. You can always play the spot directly behind your disc or you can mark it and play behind the mark.
