I actually have a little horror story to share. I was at East Hartford High School for the 18-21 program. This is a special program for people with disabilities. We go to places where we practice working so that we can find actual jobs in the future. I was at Riverside doing the food portioning in the kitchen. Then I did the silver Ware in the other room. When we were done for the day, we were at the front desk waiting for our ADA bus. Which stands for Americans with Disabilities Act. There is an elevator to the right of the first floor. The numbers go up and down as the elevator goes up and down. I don't recall which floor the elevator was on but the numbers went down meaning someone on that upper floor and got on to go down. But this is where it gets creepy. When the number got to 1, I expected someone to exit the elevator. How ever, when the elevator door opened, I didn't see anyone exiting from it. I was petrified and told my friend who was with me at the time this occured. And he looked at me and said, "Oh hell no!" To this day I don't know if it was paranormal, or if it was because there are people in wheelchairs and they need to get on. So maybe the employee was on that upper floor and they opened it but didn't actually get on. They just pressed the bottom floor button to bring the elevator down so that the wheelchair people can get on it. But that scared me to death to this day from the way the elevator moved on it's own. Thanks for listening to this story. What do you think caused the elevator to go down on it's own? Is it paranormal or was it just the employee?
