42:25 Ray’s got a great point, though he’s not able to articulate it well. It’s like when Seth McFarlane called out Harvey Weinstein albeit via a joke (but everyone knows it wasn’t just a joke. And just because it didn’t happen to him doesn’t mean he didn’t know it to be true. Some people need to be called out, even it means making the ‘caller’ look bad. For the greater good.
So why didn't he call out other people before,people that we all know were bad to their cast? And how come nobody else talked about Diesel ,the people who actually worked with him?.Vin Diesel is not that inluential.He is not Tom Cruise.

Good on Ray for his stance on the Vin Diesel situation. John is acting like he doesn't understand how power dynamics work, especially in Hollywood. If those people complain about how they are treated they will more than likely be fired and blackballed. The fear of not being able to provide for their families has kept those workers quiet and it's up to those with a voice to help bring light to poor practice in the industry, because that's what helps create the space for people to tell their story.
I agree that it seems weird that Paul Walter Hauser is upset about something he's just "heard of". But Ray is absolutely right, some victims are afraid to speak out and we don't know how close they're to Paul so if that's the case I absolutely see how it upsets him. And to say "then let them call him out" is not fair since you don't know the circumstances and you don't know if they're afraid of it. I don't necessarily think it was the right place or right time for that statement, but I'd rather have bad people being called out then not.
Also, quit this stupid "it's not manly" argumentation, where are we, in the 1900s?
John thinking it's somehow manly to not call out abusers is an interesting take. Ray seemed to be the only grown-up in that conversation.
Someone should make a highlight reel of John doing the same thing because it happens ALOT 😂.
His issue and point, is that it is childish to bring drama, that doesn't involve you in any way shape or form, to a place that doesn't have to do with any of it, regardless what's true or not. Well said Ray! Where were the Paul Walter Hauser's when Weinstein was preying on young women in the film industry. Everybody knew and nobody said anything for years.
Vin Diesel is not preying on young women. What that Paul Walter is saying is nothing more than hearsay. The victims themselves came out for the Weinstein case, Paul is neither a victim nor a witness to anything wrong Vin Diesel has done. People that are quick to judge usually have more skeletons in their closet.
Didn’t PWH just say how Vin Deisel was always late and generally had an unprofessional work ethic? Something like that? There wasn’t anything to hint at any secret abuse or anything slightly similar to Weinstein.

The only defence I have for PWH is that he knows that the stories are true because of his connections in the industry. If Vin Diesel is actually late on sets, then maybe its time actors call out each other on their bad behaviors.

That was pathetic how they treaded Ray, Jonathan not even letting him finish a sentance. Often watching TJCS i feel like everyone around has to agree with John or his gonna lose it.
Actually, and only because you've called me out for being "pathetic", all I was trying to express was that if you witnessed it or it was done to you personally then for sure speak out about it if you need to. But if its just hear say like he said, he heard things...that's just spreading rumors. I tried to speak and everytime I did it got loud on me and I couldn't say what I was trying to say. The problem is if you've only heard things it's not for you especially as a public figure to "out" someone on things youve only heard about. If you witnessed it or it was directed at you, by all means speak up and speak out. Otherwise it's spreading gossip on a big stage.
1: Mae was being controlled for the most part. This task wasn’t hers, it was her master’s. She was not gung-ho on the whole thing, you could tell with the last kill. So her change of heart was natural when she learned her sister was alive. She didn’t want to do the whole task and now she had a reason to stop
Once she learned the Master was there it was an “oh shit” moment and just wanted out. She knew the Jedi were screwed and if she was caught, she was dead. If she was captured, bound, she knew she was dead.

My job is being an industry commentator. So that's what I do. What I DO NOT do is crap talk other specific RUclipsrs or call out people by name who work in my own field. PWH should do the same.

John, I've been arguing that ALL Hall H events should be moved over to PETCO Stadium across the street. The Padres always leave town when Comic Con is on, so it's always available. Why the Comic Con people don't do just book it, is beyond me.
It's possible they looked into it and couldn't come to an agreement. Booking that stadium for the length of the con would probably cost tens of thousands of dollars per day if not more, which would be on top of whatever they're paying for the convention center.

HBO is a premium brand that's synonymous with excellence.
Max, on the other hand, is a generic streaming platform awash with all sorts of mediocre swill.
Max COULD leverage the HBO brand to its benefit in the short term, but the HBO brand would be damaged in the process.

We were talking about Star Wars in the break room, at work, and I said that I thought that SW had been patchy for most of it's run. I reckon, it's had both good and bad. But a co-worker gave me a "look" and told me to watch what I was saying. So toxic fandom, has now entered the real world.

Oh, and this was after a segment where he trash talked the whiny Star Wars who rage against acolyte for it’s “liberal” agenda.
They are going to have to film 2 seasons (8 episodes each) back to back to keep the cast looking young. A long production schedule intially but it will pay off. The advantage is when they break and return a year later to film season 3 and season 4 they will always perpetually be 1 season ahead release so they might be able to release one season every single year instead of these giant production gaps we are used to in streaming series. If HBO could maybe adopt this strategy (regardless of cast age) for other series they "KNOW" will at least get a 3 season treatment they could have an advantage of having more content in the pipeline (more consistently & quicker) than other streamers. Imagine if HBO shows came out every year vs other streamers where you wait eons for a season to return.

I’m pretty sure they have the noise reduction for a good reason and that we wouldn’t have a better listening experience without it. Most likely people will complain about not having any noise reduction.

Obviously not a Dances with Wolves fan then....... That movie showed one tribe as wise and peacedul and one tribe as evil and violent. Should films have to portray First Nations people as just 'noble savages'? Thats pretty condescending. They are like all other people - complicated - a mix of good and bad. Look at the mess movies are in in the last 10 years due to showing women as flawless and always right.
I believe the fighting you're viewing is just showing the struggle between the two sides. I'm sure it conveys that the natives were encroached and defended their lands. He made this clear in dances with wolves.

It's well known that Vin is a massive POS. Let's be honest, most of Hollywood is. So the more people who call out bad behaviour, the better. These people are being grossly overpaid, so absolutely they should be held to a higher standard and put on blast publicly. After all it is the public who make their careers and they deserve to know who they're supporting with their hard earned money.

Those comics that physically appeared are fictional stories about those heroes. It’s not like those comics that like a kid in the background or like on a shelf in shehulks office actually happen as they did in those comics. Just like the Roger’s musical that’s set in the mcu’s world as a fictional musical based on the events of the battle of New York. But yet Antman who is in hat musical wasn’t as the battle of New York other than during endgames time travel stuff.

Am I the only one who feels that the name "Kilowog" is just stupid. Firstly it just sounds stupid to the ear, and secondly the world kilo means "1,000" to most of the world, and thirdly, here in the UK, the second part, the part that sounds like "dog", is a highly offensive term for people of South Asian and Arabic descent.
