I grew up in St.Vincent, I attended Saint Marys Roman Catholic School. My mother use to own a shop where the fish market is.. That area was called little Tokyo... Not sure if it's still called that. I really want to bring my family back home.. I miss it so much... I'm originally from Miami Florida but my family is from Barrouallie. I am so glad that my mother and father moved our family to St. Vincent. Best times of my life... Going to young island, I went to Bequia, I even went to Mustique to spend time. I was all over Vincey! Sandy Bay, Cane Garden, Fair hall, Arnos Ville, Calliqua, Argyle, George Town, I even climbed up La Soufrière with my family. Back then Ju-C was my drink as a kid. I was just searching up Black Fish the other day... I definitely drank snow cone as a child... But Roti was my favorite and Tri Tri is nice too #sweetmemories

Thats our local dialect in St Vincent, different accent and pronunciation depending on where on the island/s we are from.
We speak Vincy Creole. Not patois.

the tourism and govt has head there head up there asses for decades hence island nice but needs to be on same page as other caribbean islands
@@krisbraun4754 They rent/sell most grenadines to celebs. All vincy islands so beautiful yet tourism for the "common" person isn't well developed. Everything is here but ppl go Barbados, T&T, Jamaica first cuz they know it, it's approachable
@@simsrock9982 i live in vincy, the europeans stay on the grenadines and make home there so they can enjoy the splendor and keep away from the locals on the main iand, my mums jamaican and girlfriend, jamaican was ok, its change for the worse, but still good for tourism
