Honestly as a person who sucks at putting stuff together. I didn’t need my husband to help me!! This video most definitely help me step by step I’m so proud of myself! Thank you 😊
Fantastic assembly video. 56 year old grandma here and I was able to put this one and a 16 cube together by myself. This was VERY helpful! I didn’t even have to look at the written instructions that came with the shelf. Thank you!
Good video, excellent assembly technique, beautiful final product. Tip: The last step when you put the two A panel end pieces on using the long steel screw bolts, before you assemble the A panels, screw the bolts into the pre-drilled holes to the proper depth (measure it) and then unscrew and remove them. That will make it easier to position and screw in the bolts when you attach the end pieces.
Tip: use wood or gorilla glue (wet down dowel first to activate glue) to strengthen the connection to the boards. This will prevent rickety shelving as the unit is moved around.
1) Try screwing the bolts into the side panel pre-drilled holes to the proper depth (measure it) and then unscrew and remove them. That will make it easier to position the A panels and screw in the bolts when you attach the end pieces. 2) Screw all four bolts into the side panels together before tightening them, then gradually tighten all four bolts a few turns at a time to keep everything aligned. The screws should be flush with the surface when fully screwed in. If one of your screws sticks out and will not go in all the way, you will need to re-drill that hole a little deeper to accommodate the full screw length.
My d panels are 13 inches top to born when assembling top and bottom shelves the side B panels are measuring 12inch of space so the top can’t screw on right. Is that supposed to be or just a defect?
Do you know how much weight these shelves can realistically hold? The description says 100lbs vertical and 150lbs horizontal. Is this accurate? Thank you
Step 3 is wrong and caused me to drill through the panel. Cam bolt (1) should Cam bolt (2) - I had the panels laying flat on carpet so didn’t notice until the damage was done.😠 Please edit so someone else doesn’t mess up a perfectly good piece of furniture.
