All the music from the original NSMB is underrated due to people usually just complaining about the music that keeps getting reused from NSMBWii. The castle theme is especially good and you pumped up the song to 11. It sounds like it could fit in a movie, and it feels really professional too. It's wonderful and I love it.
The only songs Wii reused were the variations of the Overworld theme though, as far as I know. Everything else was new music (unless you count the Underground and Toad House themes as reused but those are SMB1 Underground and Overworld remixes and literally every mainline Mario game from Mario 64 onward has at least one of each of those). Every other song in DS is never reused again in the NSMB series, as the other songs in Wii are all new, and 2 and U just reuse Wii's soundtrack for the most part, except U replaces every variation of the overworld theme with a new theme (thus having _NO_ NSMBDS music in it) and 2 adds a bunch of Bahs. So there's really no reason to complain about DS's soundtrack getting reused over and over again because literally just the Overworld theme was reused (and its variations), that's it, unless I'm forgetting something.
Another cool and whimsical take on a Mario song that makes me think of Danny Elfman. I do agree that it sounds like it’s apart of a legitimate movie score in regards to how it’s been handled. It’s absolutely haunting and really gets the imagination going.

Once inside, he peers around, bearing witness to the massive machinery and lava. He wants to turn back, but he must proceed with his mission. Swinging and leaping past hoards of enemies and spikes, he makes his way closer to Bowser... In the end, he must face his rival, destined to save the princess. Slowly decending into madness, Mario and Bowser clash, but eventually, One shall claim victory... Yeah, I just improved this. I know it's bad

He fakes a distress call from the princess, telling the bros that she has been kidnapped. Bowser then watches from afar as the brothers run into the castle. Tears begin to roll down his cheeks. He turns and walks in silence, as an explosion is heard in the background. He has succeeded. But at what cost did his victory come?

Bowser didn’t know why he did so, but after gathering his bearings, he went to visit the infirmary. He saw his injured subjects having their wounds tended to. He saw Bowser Jr., his own son, with a cast on his arm and, for the first time, he asked himself if it was worth it for things to continue the way they were now. His hands balled into fists as he realized that this foolish obsession of his may end up bringing about the downfall of his kingdom. “Don’t worry,” he muttered, “I’ll find a way make things right, even if I have to do it myself.” He told Kamek about his idea, about how he planned to go and find a way and make up for all of the damage he caused. He told the Magikoopa to keep an eye on Bowser Jr. and help him grow up to be a better king than himself if he never returned. Kamek was about to express his concern, but Bowser had already left, closing the door behind him.
Thats so epic. I recommented this and your Wii Castle Remastered to Top NSMBU Modders because i have a lot of contact to them. And those 2 tracks are so perfect for final castles. We just have to make sure that the levels are long enough that you can here the complete tracks ingame and if you die and respawn at a Checkpoint that the music will not restart on the beginning but at later point that you can hear the complete Song ingame
This makes me want to summon a ghost, who ends up being much smaller and weaker than myself, but he's still helpful, despite having to get carried on my back half the time. We end up going to the place get died while fighting off zombie doctors with syringes and mad scientists with live electrical wires. After we finish clearing the place out, we find out we were connected in my past life, and while he was alive, and we stay close until eternity
The reason why they don't use this theme anymore is because Ludwig claimed it, and made a castle that is far worse than any of which Bowser himself could create. He's just waiting for the right timing. Calling it now

As he climbed from the pit of lava once more, unsure of why he still had one, Bowser heaved a sigh. He didn’t know why he bothered with these kidnappings. Was it love? Was it a desire for power? Is it simply the desperation to end this rivalry he had with himself on top? He had forgotten long ago. He walked to his room so he could be alone with his thoughts and sat down on a bed designed to support someone of his size and weight. Despite his defeat, he couldn’t help but laugh. “A love between a human and a koopa could never work,” he said to himself. They were just too different.
Bowser didn’t know why he did so, but after gathering his bearings, he went to visit the infirmary. He saw his injured subjects having their wounds tended to. He saw Bowser Jr., his own son, with a cast on his arm and, for the first time, he asked himself if it was worth it for things to continue the way they were now.
His hands balled into fists as he realized that this foolish obsession of his may end up bringing about the downfall of his kingdom. “Don’t worry,” he muttered, “I’ll find a way make things right, even if I have to do it myself.”
He told Kamek about his idea, about how he planned to go and find a way and make up for all of the damage he caused. He told the Magikoopa to keep an eye on Bowser Jr. and help him grow up to be a better king than himself if he never returned. Kamek was about to express his concern, but Bowser had already left, closing the door behind him.

Thats so epic. I recommented this and your Wii Castle Remastered to Top NSMBU Modders because i have a lot of contact to them. And those 2 tracks are so perfect for final castles. We just have to make sure that the levels are long enough that you can here the complete tracks ingame and if you die and respawn at a Checkpoint that the music will not restart on the beginning but at later point that you can hear the complete Song ingame
This makes me want to summon a ghost, who ends up being much smaller and weaker than myself, but he's still helpful, despite having to get carried on my back half the time. We end up going to the place get died while fighting off zombie doctors with syringes and mad scientists with live electrical wires. After we finish clearing the place out, we find out we were connected in my past life, and while he was alive, and we stay close until eternity
