  • Timing screw used in bottling line.
    Solidworks 2013 is used and solid sweep feature is used to make this feedscrew.
    The working animation of this timing screw is also made on the solidworks 2013 (motion studies).

      Hi Praveen, nice tutorial, but flawed i am afraid, solidworks will not generate a true "square to conveyor" round bottle path form, let alone a square one, many discussions with solidsolutions!

    hello Praveen, excellent video. I have some questions. How can I get in touch with you?

    How did you get your curve coordinate values? Thank you. Can you tell me

    do you have another option for timing without screw

    Your screw will not work. We see the gap becoming to tight at the end. Not the good option in the feature.

      currently i don't have Autodesk Inventor. But as far as i know, the Inventor has many similarities (also in Solid Modeling)with Solidworks.So,following this tutorial you can create this in inventor too.

    In need the schematic of twin screw for this characteristics with soliwork or solidCam who can help me?
    Model=kte50
    L/D=50.5
    RRM=600/800
    Output=300kg/h

    that's not quite right, you have to use direction vector in the options (3:59)

    • @SolidworksFunPraveenSingh

      That's also an option to try.

      What would you specify as the direction vector?

      @@sargy83 This still doesnt appear to give the correct results even though I found an exact example in the solidworks help showing this to be the solution.
