GVM (stands for "Great Video Maker") announces two new COB LED lights, the PRO-SD1200C (RGB + Bicolor) and the PRO-SD1200B (Bicolor). At the other end of the line, the company offers three new compact lights: Travel Light, Pocket Light, and Camera Light, all based around a 60W COB LED in different form factors. The Camera Light is designed like, well, a camera - boxier than the others. Both the Camera Light and the elongated Travel Light include a built-in battery. The Pocket Light forfeits the battery for a more compact design with greater power flexibility.

Are these out already? (1200C and 1200B)? Zero reviews on YT :D
I have their 60w bicolor light which i like as 1st move in the light world. Hope these products are great too
I think gmv is making a huge mistake pricing it that high if they dropped the price somehow by let's say 1,000 to 800.00 I feel like they would be far more competitively priced as they should be because right now the only difference between something like aperture 1200d or a nanLux 1200 B is like two or three hundred dollars now if you can make it $1,000 then I would much rather buy something like this then coughing up the extra couple hundred dollars for the current Gap to the nanLux 1200 B
Zhiyun MOLUS G300 just released tiny 300 watt output at very affordable price for any indie filmmaker hopefully their next big step gonna be Molus G600
Wonder about the quality of these new big GVM lights,
650B does not shine in this department :D.
Price wise quite interesting, but I wonder how consistent the quality is overtime.
Good there's green/magenta shift, cause 650B does not have it :(.
I have zero issues with my 650b and definitely can't complain considering I got it $800 😂😂
Big mistake trying to come in at the same price range as their competitors. They were just starting to gain traction putting out the 650w bi color at 800$ at half the price of competition.
The lack of v mount is also a big detractor.
Built in batteries in the light is a big deal breaker. Batteries won’t last long and once the performance fades away you might just throw it.
Is it just me or is this year’s NAB full of a lot of BS products?
I guess it's nice for YTbers who change their lighting setup every 2 years :D.
For any serious production you need replaceable batteries cause you buy lights for life.
0% chance id pay what they are asking... id get a godox Knowled 1200bi or aputure 1200d before I paid that for a GVM... make it 1500 and ill entertain it
Price absolutely needs to come down. I mean, they where just selling 650bs for under $700 on the prime deal days... I'd buy 2 if they were $1500-$1800 range.
GVM moving wrong way very soon Zhiyun gonna lead
