- We’re back with another episode of Guernsey Swap, where the teams and guernseys are decided at random and I have to try and make a new guernsey for each team.
Which teams would you like to see swap guernseys ?

A dark guernsey with dual coloured V's - Port fans would have a field day 😂 (it does look pretty good gotta say).
😂
what software do you use to create these, because these are amazing
I use photoshop
The Hawks jumper with a hawk looking like a phoenix rising from the ashes is pretty good. I do think Hawthorn is stripes. But Hawks have a shocking reputation in designing jumpers, so your version aint half bad. I think brown and gold is an average combination, and stripes make it work. I'd like to see brown panels with thin gold pinstripes as an alternative jumper. It keeps the stripes and is conservative enough for male fans. I'd also make the brown far darker so it would work better with merchandise and polos.
Could you combine jumpers for teams with 3 colours and those with 2 colours. Melb and Adel isn't the best combination. Port or Bulldogs or Brisbane is a good comparison for Adelaide.
Did you hear Eddie McGuire (Eddie and Jimmy) have a go at why clubs wear white shorts. Basically what I've been saying all along. If your colours are blue and red, then why not wear blue or red shorts and only white for rare exceptions. He says that if Essendon play Saints Collingwood Geelong Swans Dockers for example they should never wear white shorts. Spot on. I've been saying that too.
That makes a lot of sense in most cases, I’m sure the AFL would still find a way to make some awful clashes though
@@mattn1 Geelong has been really good to wear the white shorts at home. Its reduced the clashes and helped other side wear their main jumper. Collingwood done well to wear a mainly white jumper (white shorts) and mainly black jumper (black shorts) to help with tradition. If sides can work together with AFL backing then it makes a lot of difference. Sometimes the adjustments can be quite minor. Have Essendon in red shorts and just make the sash a little bit wider with red collar. Suddenly its quite a contrast compared to Richmond... you get the picture. Brisbane when they play Sydney/Gold Coast/Giants can wear blue shorts and drop the yolk further down the jumper. Most people wouldn't notice it (apart from Matt and probably me), but suddenly there is no need for a team to wear a clash jumper and white shorts etc...
I think white clash jumpers must be avoided at all times. Freo almost get away with it, considering white is their colour! But never Hawthorn. I suppose if it was an extra light dull gold, or a sandstone very light brown, then it can be tolerated. But if you have two contrasting colours like brown and gold then you don't need white. I'd like to see the brown far darker as the fans don't want to wear their usual brown.
If the Dockers logo was better than you could have a logo on the jumper. But their anchor D logo is really average. I'd like to see the Dockers with purple green and white stripes... (or red)... Not just purple and white. Sometimes when done properly stripes are good.
will freo ever bring back the old colours?
Besides alt guernseys doubt it for a home/away guernsey
@@JakePerr636 they should at least bring the anchor back. they've lost their identity a bit
Yeah I kind of agree with this
Pls do bombers ik there not an easy club to design but pls
They don’t really give you much to work with 😂
I'd like to see logos and jumpers if clubs had have kept their original nicknames. St Kilda Seagulls. They could have a seagull on the front looking like a white Docker style anchor. Brisbane Gorillas (from Fitzroy). Melbourne Fuschias, Hawthorn Mayblooms etc... Also it would be interesting seeing how teams jumpers may have been modernised if they kept their original colours. Like Hawks red white and blue etc...
Change in topic. A comment on Saints. Its strange but their alternative strip with a largely white back, looks a lot better than their traditional jumper with the black back. Both jumpers have the same front. But a white back just looks crisper and highlights the colours red and black better. What do you think. It would look great in red or black shorts.
do north with anyone 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
