Notice how basically everything is vintage! Vintage is king! No matter what the modern market does, crazy ups and crazy downs, vintage stays consistent. High quality vintage will always be in demand and appreciate and always be a great investment. I hope Geoff and his team recognize this and do more vintage content.
By far one of my favorite episodes you have done. I watch their show all the time. They’re 2 real intelligent guys who know what they are doing !!!! Awesome !!!!!
Quote: "we realized that it was still a thing?" Around 2020. Welcome to the hobby or should I say "thing?" Wow! Enough said. Did see some incredible cards! The Berra was super!
I hate when my girlfriend watches this show, but the guy on the left has a serious soccer card collection. Very under appreciated these. The host has no clue what hes looking at.
As a hockey collector, I feel the pain of my fellow collectors who are fans of soccer. Both are great sports, and I'm confident in time the trends we're seeing with increased attendance and growing fan bases in the US will translate into even more card collectors. Thanks for the insight, it's interesting how diverse the vintage products are in soccer.
Gotta admit, these dudes are legit. Started watching their Netflix show over the last Christmas 🎄 season and was hooked. Now I hear that they love the hobby! These guys are perfect for the hobby. Great insight into the wonderful world of soccer ⚽️ Beautiful collection of cards by the way. Keep upgrading as you go is the key.
When I was a kid in the very early 80's, I won an autographed Jersey of Walter Payton and a photo op with him. He shook my hand and said, don't get it dirty or something like that. It was presented at, I think a college game or maybe a Cowboy game. This was in or around Dallas, SMU, Denton, I don't know. Many years ago. I was 12 or 13 then. Now I'm 54. I also had a game ball signed by Roger Staubach. Also a Pro AM Golf tournament with many of the Dallas Cowboys attended. Maybe a benefit. Had several golf balls and a program signed by many of them. Funny story, either Drew Person or Tony Hill got mad at me for begging for a golf ball LOL. Very tall guys to a kid.
Glad the brothers include soccer in their collection in addition to the American sports. Love all the cards and would like to see a follow-up showcasing a different batch. That 48 Berra, 74 Ageducatifs, Payton, M. Cudine, etc.... gorgeous cardboard there! Thanks for the share.
Wish Brett had his yellow name Eusebio to show off to explain the rarity in the Panini stickers. A hell of a collection and the Vintage Soccer Discord is a great place for anyone interested in learning more.
It's basically a 1of1, as far as asking prices but, I don't know if it'll reach 500k. I personally think it should but, his cards don't get that high, unfortunately!!
Im jist starting to collect again got a leaf metal /10 giannis antetokounmpo but cant afford to buy cards any suggestions on how to get good cards without spending to much have a son with autism who i want to leave everything to
Knew about these guys watched their show on Netflix. But just couldn’t get in to it, the way that I got in to the other shows about LA and NY. But now that I know they love soccer 😉
Just thought about this. When did the "hobby Bros" buy these gems? If recently? They may have way over-paid. May take forever to carefully appreciate? Keep in mind. Two - "collectors" - paid over 700K for an 86F MJ PSA 10. They may "never" see an appreciation in this century? My congratulations to the two who sold? They may have gotten in around 25K? Sold for 700+ and then rebought @ 200 and pocketed almost 500K before taxes? Ya gotta love our hobby! 😎
That Walter Payton RC is certainly amazing ! However, I’d take a ‘35 Chicle Nagurski PSA 9 or ‘58 Topps Jim Brown PSA 9 over that Payton. Nice card tho !!!
Cool to see the history on these soccer/futbol cards that I had no exposure to prior. The stories behind these things is what makes them special. Hopefully you have some folks with awesome hockey collections soon as well!
Easy to get any card you want when you have millions of dollars. Shame the hobby has been turned into just about investing it seems and whomever has the biggest wallet/purse
Vintage cards becoming more and more popular! Great video!

I don't know squat about soccer but it doesn't matter because that guy loves what he has collected.
And that pristine Payton is 🔥
More videos like this. Love hearing stories of all types of collector’s collections.
By far one of my favorite episodes you have done. I watch their show all the time. They’re 2 real intelligent guys who know what they are doing !!!! Awesome !!!!!
Love to see stars and people in other industries collect cards!
That Payton card is CRAZY
Love these kinds of vids seeing that we aren't the only nerds out there lol
I really hope vintage will go on the uptake, as it carries so much history/memories/proven pedigree and every card holds a special story.

Great content Geoff!
Will you be at the nationals when it’s in Canada?
Geoff, thanks for the content and dedication..minor note your pacing on the ⚽️ cards felt a bit off (kinda whatever 😉)..Nice football collection 👍
Probably the most metro sports card trio in the hobby.
Great video! Always fun!
He didn’t want to put a 💍 on Chrishell! 🤣
Want to keep your sports card collection always high in value.......buy vintage only!!!
Wow, so original! I’ve never heard this

Interesting analysis. Agree with most of it. vintage baseball will be solid at any time. Just like houses in Beverly Hills are always solid.

Hey anyone know if the box giveaway winner has been picked yet?
That’s awesome they are Soccer Collectors
The Walter Payton card is the best card I think Ive ever seen. Its got to be the best American Football card. Mantle cards don't do it for me.
That Walter Payton RC is certainly amazing ! However, I’d take a ‘35 Chicle Nagurski PSA 9 or ‘58 Topps Jim Brown PSA 9 over that Payton. Nice card tho !!!
Another great video.
Are those back to back rookies cracked ice?
Love you guys I am a big fan
Hey Geoff love ur vids
Anyone know if the brothers have instagram for their cards?
That Maradona looks pretty close to a 10. I wonder what the flaw was that made it a 9?
How did you meet the brothers
Those are literally some of the greatest soccer cards I’ve ever seen. The players that they have collected are all icons of the sport.
Cool to see the history on these soccer/futbol cards that I had no exposure to prior. The stories behind these things is what makes them special. Hopefully you have some folks with awesome hockey collections soon as well!
You got Fernando Gago an it's not amazing? lmao

Somehow, I knew they would be into soccer.

Sweet....
O cool...more rich people and they get to open free cards!
soocer soccer soccer
Hi!
Sadly these dudes should have been spent their $$$ on hotter cards and players. Maybe in time those soccer cards will keep growing though.
Not everyone in this industry gambles on “hot” prospects. Some of us prefer buying GOATs.
