The video seems to completely ignored that they were talking about state Senate as well whose purpose was like the US Senate to represent and protect the self-governable regions of the state. Also video also completely ignored that the bicameral state legislator exist like the federal to require consent of both the popular majority,( as expressed in the house) and the self-governing regional majority (as expressed in the Senate). The court basically made both legislators the same, an extremely hypocritical move. The effect of this move of course was devastating to the very different rural areas who now really were going to be forced to implement incompatible urban policies that devastated them developmentally and economically. Effectively preventing them from ever developing to challenge the existing urban cores. In essence the arrogant court completely broke our constitutional system at the state level.
