  • This video explains an approach that we use to at BoatAC.net to repair marine air conditioners that are having problems with water pressure, overheating or E4 codes. We attach high pressure air to a column of water and blow the water through the system at high pressure to clean the debris.
In this video, you'll see how we connect a Dometic Cruisair marine ac to clean water and high pressure air to clean out the inside of the air conditioner and all the hoses.

Such a great approach. Worked great on a ‘16 heat pump on my boat that was giving me problems.

Great invention! Is there another method of cleaning system if you don't have that equipment?

@@markdimaio8396 here are the part numbers and other details to make it yourself. If you already have a compressor, this is probably under $100 of parts at Lowe’s or similar. ruclips.net/video/8ZqBnQ2fzd4/видео.htmlsi=fUWds3mBBjrRaGqo

Can you put a t-fitting in front of the AC pump and run it at 120psi?

Nice. So 120 psi isn’t too much?

90 that’s used for air tools should be fine. There’s a lot of volume in those hoses and they’re very strong (if the right materials were used). We always use two clamps on every hose and marine-grade everything.
