Hi. I need your advice. I made letters of interest but just noticed one error in most of them. I signalled these programs and don't want this small error making my letter null. Would it be ok to follow up without mentioning the error with my top choice programs and mentioning what I'm doing now?
What if you match for PGY2 & did not match for PGY1, then ? Will you be able to complete residency with the program u matched with PGY2 as PGY2 positions are more than PGY1?
Mr. Malke can you please make an interview with someone how is matched in orthopedics so he can tell us about his experience how could he matched into that ultra-competitive specialty because i heard someone how is say that's impossible for img's after the step one became bass and fail

I am interested in geenticsan no one talks about it. I know you don't match directly to genetics. You need to match to another program then to genetics (but is not a fellowship), and there are some combined programs. But still, no one seems to know or to have more data about this specialty.

Why there is no mention for non-US IMG in emergency medicine…..is it not considered for them?
Do you think pathology residency in recent getting tougher for IMG with red flags....

You try to find PGY1 during the SOAP. Generally not a problem since there are hundreds of empty PGY1 prelim positions available.
I have a question Dr Asaad, why are the numbers of US IMG matches lower than IMG in general, is it because there are less US IMGs?

They apply at the same time they apply for the PGY1 prelim position
Thank you for your guide, how about Cardiology and Opthalmology , are there more hard to get in than dermatology and other surgical residencies
Cardiology is a fellowship not a residency match. Opthalmology match is not run by NRMP.
Most people who withdrew from the match actually Pre-matched.
