Yes. He was my childhood hero and never failed to make me laugh, even in dark times. And the sad thing is that he could make the world smile but secretly suffered on the inside. This hurts me so much, even still today when I see footage of him again.

this is the second time Matt worked with Robbin and everytime someone asked him about, (before and after Robbin's death) he had nothing but high praises for that legend. He said he was so heartbroken on the day, all he did was go to the park and sit on the bench that he and Robbin shot their park bench scene in good will hunting. Matt always says he learnt so much from Robbin...we miss you Robbin, RIP you beautiful soul... :(((

The father/son relationship Robins had with Matt and Ben- and what they brought to each others’ life… it’s just beautiful. You can see the love they have for each other even through a lens.
About 18 months after he appeared on the show, this man who's considered to be one of the greatest comedians & actors ever lived has left us forever. rip Mr. Robin Williams, we shall not, and will not for a moment forget you and the great thing you've done :)

Matt Damon and Robin Williams were both great in "Good Will Hunting." The world was a bit sadder when Robin had left it. There will never be another like him.
Less than 2 minutes, that's all it took for Robin Williams to leave his mark. That's how wonderful he is. I say he is, for he is timeless, his work, his achievements are not constrained by the mortal bounds which surround us mere beings.

I saw Robin do his act at Bagram, Afgahnistan back in 2003. He was awesome and so filthy he made the General who was escorting him blush lol. What a funy as hell guy and wonderful human being...all of us (veterans) will miss him.

To see him then and know that he was holding onto so much inside... He could have asked anyone, anyone at all, for help and would have had it in spades. Robin Williams was one in a million. I always laugh at his antics, and a lot of times laugh so hard I cry. I'm always touched by his serious roles. The guy could just grab a hold of you and give you a great time.
We could use his humor and humanity at this point in time. He left us way too soon.

I think his perception might have been off and he wasn't able to reason. He had advanced Lewy Body Dementia that wasn't diagnosed yet. His brain wasn't working properly.
