It is next gen, I thing game devs are getting too ambitous. Graphics cards especially mainstream ones aren't there yet. Even ps5 isn't there yet. They will have to downgrade a lot of the game to make it playable.

Everything just ends up looking stock. It takes a very hard-working, talented team to make a game that looks, plays and feels great. Keep an eye open for those highly tuned artistic nuances - that's a sign you're playing some special. I think of Elden Ring bosses.

Just you know, this game was previously called Shadow of Conspiracy: Section 2, a prototype from Gamescom 2021 and was name changed (definitely better move, because it sounded atrocious). Developers are Elysium Game Studio
When he says at the end "So I was forced to do this...", I think he was talking about releasing a trailer at this stage of development.
