I love all the anatomical details, like the belly-plates and the suggestion of a pupil slit between the "slices" that make up each eye. Such a clever thing, so many highlights.

The Pyro snakes also have an interesting aesthetic the ice warriors too. I find that the Ninjago enemies are almost always way more interesting than the Ninjas.

This is probably my favorite of the wave. It's neck and neck with the Shuricopter and the Titan Mech

Yeah, it’s a bigger, badder version of the Pharoah’s Quest Cobra, but on Fire this time. What’s not to like?
My only problem with this originally was the lack of posability in the head/neck. I may buy it eventually.

This is almost like a spin-off of Forma project what with the large vinyl piece and articulation with Technic-built function. Looks cool, and great set review as always.

Jang, you and I are both old enough to remember what Lego box art used to be like on the sets in the 70s and 80s. Now obviously box art helps to sell the product but I don’t think modern box art helps in representing the true nature of the set. Box art used to be simple but you knew exactly what you were getting. However I can see here how the box art hasn’t overhyped, if you like, the set itself.

A few thoughts to share with you, Jang. I consider you to be a master builder. Your review on this was excellent taking into account building technique and contemplating the designers' intent. Also I am a fan of Ninjago as I watch it with and even without my kids. I appreciate that you keep up with the show in order to have relevant feedback, but I know it's not possible to keep up on all the reference material for Lego sets. Keep up the amazing work. Love your humor too!
The snake's head looks like a dragon's head, and I love it.
Love the set, but I think the throne is just a bit odd. Its angled placement on the serpent is weird and it's more of a stand than a throne. However, it does look really good as a banner holder on the serpent, without Aspheera on top.
All in all I'd say this set is fire :)

Kudos to you for a Lego set review well done!! Serpentor would be pleased with this set. Lego made a Cobra Rattler!!!! Except its not based on the A-10 Warthog ground support plane. Still, the name fits. Awesome build!!! I love dragons and serpents. Cobra-La, La, La, La, La!!!!!!
I doesn't actually make too much sense that Kai is in his forbidden spinjitzu form in this set, because in the show Aspheera only has the power of fire because she stole Kai's elemental powers. So only one of them should be allowed to be on fire, not both.
Speaking of which. I kinda wish they'd release a non-fire-powered version of Aspheera at some point, that would be really cool. Maybe that's what they'll do for Bricktober this year (that is if they do what they've been doing for the past couple years)

Hey, I believe you made a small mistake, you've listed the MSRP as 35€ but it seems to be 45€, or if it actually is 35€ the price per part should be around 0.08€ instead of 0.10€. Otherwise it's a pretty cool set and a cool video, nice twist at the beginning !

I've never bought a Ninjago Set. Growing up with Bionicle, Ninjago was the replacement horse that never, ever worked. I never liked it, not from day one. I'm buying this set. My only wish is that the Fire Fang had hidden wheels in its body to scoot along.

This is Best Season 11 Set in my opinion.
I love this set and really want to get it for my growing g collection, I wouldn't be surprised if they were more than a little inspired by game of thrones for this wave. Given the look of the throne here and the addition of icy zombies and an ice dragon in the other sets.
I have to say that unlike JANG, I liked this from day one and I'm as far from being a Ninjago fan as you can get. The fact that it IS even better is a bonus. I disagree about JANG's opinion of the head, cobra head's are supposed to be flat. If I pick this up, I think I will leave the symbol stickers off because they would be awesome for MOCs.
So we have a wave featuring an army of evil undead ice warriors who command their own equally undead dragon, and it's the bladed throne that's giving you a Game of Thrones vibe? It's not even the first time LEGO's done that (I know the Throne Room Showdown set from last year had one too and was more magnificent IMO, though it didn't come perched on top of a giant fire snake, which admittedly puts a damper on its majesty).
Glad the set was better than you thought it would be in any case. I disagreed with your initial impression and thought it looked good when the first blurry pictures were leaked. It'll be a real treat to get this on my shelf; I missed all the previous giant snakes in the past, and with this one, I'll be getting a bunch of snake minifigures to boot!
I'm gonna build up a Pyro Snake army... I might need two of these. Luckily, my Walmart has a sale on Legos.

I love the design.
In the show Asfeera has a normal snake tail which is covered in fire. I would have been happier if lego at least made a brick built tail for her instead of using the ghost piece.

(sigh) I think the only thing I don't like is the snake's eye, it needs just a little bit more I think. eg a sticker for a reptilian slit pupil

don't care much for the vehicle idea, but would make a great Throne for Cobra Commander!!!
I got normal snake with should pad from exclusive accessory pack from lego site, then got snake with no shoulder pad and golden snake from german seller for £17 as rrp for this set is overpriced for what you get and found gaint snake to what looks to be waste of money/bad build but snake mini figures are nice in this set much better then original series ones I think.
