After losing my mom when I was in 5th grade I went from natural my whole life to straight hair every single day. Without her I didn't know what to do with my own hair so I got comfortable with a straightener. I now am in 10th grade and have been natural for 10 months since summer! Learning to love my hair was the best decision I ever made!

I have been on my natural hair journey for about 2 years. This journey has been interesting as well as difficult because this journey has been all about trial and error. But now that I am fully natural I am very happy with my hair and my curls💜. The best decision I made was going natural because it made me not only accept my curls but also made me appreciate that I am beautiful just as God made me with a curly head of hair!!💜 💛. I love you curls and your content!! God keep guiding you and blessing you so that you can continue to give us tips and tricks to fully embrace and get the most out of our curly hair.

I’ve been on my natural journey for almost 2 years, this June 2019. Before that all I knew was straight hair for 20 years. Wanted my baby girl to see that mama could embrace her curly hair, just as I wanted her to grow up to embrace and love her hair too.

I have only been natural for this past year and I am not going to lie, it has been a bit rough. I have never been able to truly accept my hair and I was always self concious when it came to wearing it natural. Being biracial I never used to know where I fit in and growing up surrounded by many white people, it made me feel different. This caused me to straighten my hair almost every week and I finally realized how damaged my hair was becoming. I started watching videos and looking at pictures where girls were wearing their natural hair and I was amazed at how beautiful their hair was. This inspired me to go natural. I have gotten a lot of support about going natural, but some people showed negativity towards it. I didn't know how to make my hair look good with a hair care routine, but watching videos like yours really helped me learn how to take care of my hair and make it look absolutely bomb! :)

i went complete natural back in 2017. i never had a relaxer or anything BUT the reason i went natural was because of my mom! she big chopped and completely inspired me to step away & accept and love my curls ❤️➰

I have been on my natural hair journey since I was born. Growing up my parents were they strict about my hair, especially my dad! I only put heat to my hair like once a year. I’m so thankful that my parents were this way about my hair because I absolutely love my curls!!

  • @kenyahkia

Honestly, I have been natural my entire life. I've never permed or relaxed my hair. But my healthy natural hair journey, where I really started to take of my hair and harness my curls started 4 years ago. I had a hard time finding products for my hair or even getting some decent wash and go's, when I found your channel. You did a video "Big and Curly Hair routine" and I basically just tried to replicate, and it actually came out decent. Then the struggle continued because you didn't have much content for a while and it was hard finding someone who had a similar curl pattern, then you came back and I was so happy. I also managed to find, through trial and error what works for my hair and what doesn't, using tips from other RUclipsrs and experimenting on my own. I never thought I would have the type of curls I have now, but it's because of the increasing natural community that has taught me how to properly care for my hair and have my natural hair poppin all the time. The journey isn't over, but it has been going amazing as I learn of my hair's true potential.

    Omg. Those curls! 😭
All my life! And it's been a struggle going from my not knowing how to look after her own hair, to my hair, to me starting to do my own hair, damaging it and now, still cluelessly experimenting and hoping I stumble upon a miracle cure-all...

I have been natural for almost 3 years now. I actually had no idea what " going natural " even was or that was what I was doing. Just started as a experiment to see what my hair would look like if I stopped straightening it ( both chemical and heat). and I discovered my natural hair over time and fell in love with it. My only regret now is not going natural sooner. Love your hair and yours is one of the first I've found that was similar to mine so thank you for sharing so much content that has helped motivate and educate!

I’ve been natural all my life! I always used heat and never wore out my hair in its natural curly state. I had tons of heat damage, and I just recently cut it off in December of 2018. This is a time of growth for me. I am in college so I’m really finding my self and that includes learning to love myself. My natural hair journey is going well and I’m still transitioning though. I’m hoping soon when my hair gets longer I can color it just like your hair because I love your hair. I tell my friends this all the time. I also want to add that I’m just not wearing my hair natural for me but for other women who do not feel confident in their natural hair. I want to help others embrace it and love themselves too! I’m here for all women empowerment!

Since I decided to start wearing my natural hair, I cut off all the straight pieces to get rid of my dead ends. Now I’m still on my natural hair journey to having completely healthy hair! Ive been natural since my freshman year of high school, I'm a freshman in college so, about 5 years. I was so scared to go natural because I wasn't use to my curls and was scared about what people would think because being "natural" wasn't the norm my freshman year. I've learned to love and embrace my curls through cutting and trial and error and mainly youtube. Love your channel, its channels like these that got my curls looking poppin !

Hi Endia, great video with banging results as always!
I’ve been on my hair journey since 2015, so about 4 years now. However, to be frankly quite honest I’ve only properly been sticking to an actual hair routine for the past year. I’m now 21 and I’ve been able to grow much thicker, fuller and just healthier hair which I absolutely love. It’s been a delightful transition of seeing what “CHANGE” can actually do and how superb proper growth forms from the right things. I’ve researched into so many things about just caring for curly hair, what works well, what to avoid, styling techniques, etc... I must say, I’ve taken a lot of inspiration from you amongst a few other hair bloggers out there mainly from RUclips vids and Instagram posts. You was initially the first ever person I properly started following about hair and began taking on board your tips & advice. I’ve even stayed up all night searching random hair stuff online, then next thing you know, I’m here watching all the hair tutorials in the world you can possibly imagine, I kid you not, when I say I’m mad passionate about hair, I really am 🙆🏾‍♂️😂😂‼️
As I’m a guy with hair, I think it’s just as important to manifest time and so energy into hair to ensure it stays full of life, nourished and reaches its best potential. Long Hair and all of that generally is seen as something “feminine” within society, especially over here in London anyways and I totally disagree. Society have their own reservations about men with long hair. I like to break the very typical generic view of that and go by saying there’s no rules or boundaries necessarily on what it means to live life by Femininity nor Masculinity standards nowadays. Coming from a mixed Black Afro-Caribbean and Asian (Indian) cultural background, my family on both sides have always highly promoted the idea of healthy hair. My parents have always told my sister and I, our hair is strength; our power and we have to make sure we maintain it and treat it like Gold. I always found that very fascinating yet funny till this day. It’s only since I’ve become more mature and so older I’ve been able to find out more about my curly hair and take good pride in it. I’ve thankfully found great products that work and I continue to love my journey and see where it takes me. I fully love to endorse and so respect every persons hair journey as it’s such a beautiful thing. I’ve been following your Instagram since Summer 2017 and you’re certainly a golden soul with dope curls. Keep glowing, growing and so doing your thing. We love it. You’ve helped me fo’sure along my hair journey, so thank you. Btw, sincere apologies for this long ass Essay paragraph, it’s not everyday I turn like some English Professor or whatever but yeah 😂😂
-Good vibes, infinite love and blessings always, Jamz 🔮😌🙏🏾❣️✨

I’ve been natural for 2 years and it’s been...... a journey 😂 when I first cut my hair, I was just not digging it. If it was possible to glue your hair back into your head and it look normal, I probably would have done it😂. You were the reason I decided to go natural. I found you on Instagram and loved your hair and how healthy it looked. After I cut mine, I remember telling my family that it was your fault I’ve got no hair😂😂. Today it’s the complete opposite. I’m now telling them that you’re the reason I have all this hair. It’s grown so much and is probably the best decision I’ve ever made. I love it💕

I’ve been on my natural hair journey for just over a year now and honestly its been a roller coaster. I have 3b/3C Dominican curls that I have grown to love. I used to have long hair that My mom would make me straighten almost every week. I used to get so many compliments on my long straight hair but I always liked curls. Eventually my hair stopped curling all together so I figured I would keep straightening it cause why not. I stopped after while just to try out my natural curly hair( all though at this point it wasn’t curly at all) but fell back into bad habits after a boy I liked said I looked prettier with straight hair. One day I said enough is enough and decided that I was going to commit. That was March 31 2018 and I never looked back since. All though I was heavily criticized by my mom, family members, and “friends” I still kept on. So a year later after so many at home haircuts, deep conditioners, and even a curly hair cut gone extremely wrong I am finally happy with the way my hair is thriving. All though I still have about half an inch of slightly damaged ends in my crown area and slightly passed bra strap length hair, I’m still loving my natural beauty and I’m grateful that I made that decision a year ago😁

Your hair is so beautiful! I have been wearing my hair in its natural curly state for 7 years! Before that I would get my hair blown out and straightened. I have always wanted to try deva curl products!

Hello I've been natural for 6 years. I really need these products in my life. My hair has been through so much trying to find the right products for myself. I have cut my hair to try to help with tangles and dryness and I just can't find the right product. I hope I can win, to bring my hair back to life. 😀😀😀

I've been natural since the summer of 2012. Even though I was natural my hair was in terrible shape. I play basketball so I was always wearing it in a bun. With my hair like that almost everyday (along with using peroxide to lighten it 🤦🏾‍♀️) it broke off extremely bad and I had to do a big chop December 2017. Since then it's been a journey of growing my hair back out and learning how to properly take care of it.

Hiya I've been trying to go natural for 8 years so since I was ten it's been so so hard as I've never really found the right products so my hair has always been very fizzy and nappy and never curly which I guess it's meant to be as I'm mixed race so I've never really wore it out and always had it tied back and in protective styles. I would love to try and get my curls defined like yours some day because your hair is amazing 😍

I hope it is not to late to enter. I have been on my natural hair journey for about a year and a half. I am still transitioning, so I have been watching videos of what different products I can use to style my hair, and help it grow. Your video was great, and your hair is so beautiful.

I've been on my journey since 2002!(back n forth, cutting, dyeing)... It was junior year in high school and my best friend could have killed me, she was so pissed🤦🏾‍♀️. I shaved my head and it was the year we took year book pictures LMAO. Someone actually walked up to me and said "I'm so sorry" because they thought I had cancer, no one wanted to believe that I cut my hair on purpose. #TheyWerentReady. I still think I killed that pic💁🏾‍♀️😉

I have been natural all my life. However a stupid prank made me loose my waist length hair before. A freaking shaving cream added to a shampoo ... yeah I know 🤦🏾‍♀️
But your girl bounced back like it never happened lol. I’m not at waist length yet but I got rid off all the damage and I have bouncy curls now.
Btw your mom inspired me soooo much! ❤️

I’m struggling with finding a product that works well with my hair. I’ve always wanted to try diva curls line but I can’t afford the products. I would love to win this give away, I think it would help me see if this is a product worth investing it. I’ve been on my journey for about 2 years but struggle staying to it because I haven’t found a product that works really well for my hair. By the way your hair is amazing 😍😍
