Thanks for the video, it is exactly what I was searching for to put them on my Sprinter 3500. For tight fitting rubber bits, I use isopropyl alcohol as a lube. It evaporates, but works wonders for these situations and leaves no residue behind. I was hoping to see a picture of both fully installed (any other pictures?).

Excellent instructions, but I would recommend filming with camera in horizontal format.

You can film horizontally or vertically with phone. Other than that you give clear instructions.

I bought new tires and a set of Borg valve stems. When I went to pick up my Sprinter RV they had no idea what they were doing with the valve stems. It was like they never even picked up the instructions in the pack. They put the long Ones on the front and the curved Ones on the inside dual and short straight Ones on the outside duals. the only seal that were not torn was only One of the front long stems. You would think a tire store would know what they were doing. I ended up taking it to my RV dealer service department to get the job done right. (They had to order a new set of seals so I had to wait a week) Other the that the Borgs work great. I don't understand why they just don't put them on from the factory. Does Winnebago, Coash House, etc. think that adding about $250.00 to the cost of a new RV will make a difference? Rant over.

Thanks, great video. I wanted to know which valve stem grommet to use, they sell 1 and 2 piece styles, and this video answered that for me.

We are sending your video to the shop that’s installing our new tires. Wondering if you had to bend the inner dualy stem to fit straight into stabilizer. Any pictures, suggestions on how to bend? Also if there are any issues with these stems and balancing equipment. Many thanks

I’m curious to know why you didn’t put the grommet on the stem and then Lube the outside of the grommet and push through?
Also something I’ve gone for years on Rubber Parts is to soak them in 303 Protectant that is heated up to 145°F and let soak for 10 minutes and then remove the heat and let cool down. This treats the rubber from Sun and other UV & Chemical exposure including Salt.

So I had tried that method but still had some failures so do it this way as they state in their instructions.
As far as soaking ect I try to follow the directions on aftermarket components as much as possible to cover myself from being the cause of failure vs a part failure.
