My surgeon and pHysical therapists tell me knee replacement surgery gets the most complaints (of joint surgeries) for disrupted sleep. It’s been eight weeks and I’m ready for more consistent sleep. I know some tips for inducing sleep but will pay attention to these too. Thanks!

Many thanks for an extremely informative video. Time for hubby and I to get to sleep a little earlier, clearly. All tips are extremely helpful to us all, so very many thanks for them all.

What about screen time before bed? Does it affect deep sleep?

Thank you Will. I really needed that advice about the importance of sleep. I get cramp in my calves which wakes me up and I realise now that it's the tightness of the sheet. Also I go to bed later and later these days, so am not having enough sleep as well as not enough deep sleep. I will change these habits including changing my sleeping position and see what effect that has on my health.

On keto, I eat my Omad meal and drink my coffee at 6 p.m. When I go to bed at 10 p.m., my body is able to get all these good nutrients into my cell. Works fantastic. I recommend a sleep roll.

Do you have any advice on pillows? I am a side sleeper but will give sleeping another try. Even if I can fall asleep on my back, I usually wake up on my side.

I find dim red light at night helps deep sleep. According to my garmin.
