I sold my silver 1oz coins today as I just had a new car heater installed, and my balance was zero. Thank God I had the coins to fall back on in an emergency. I'm thinking about all of the people in the USA who lost homes, businesses, cars, and loved ones. I'm thinking about everyone in the Middle East, in Taiwan, and all countries in conflicts, and recovering from natural disasters. Praying for all of us in this difficult time.
Whenever I am hiking in the Black Hills of South Dakota, I feel closer to God than any other place. And I "talk" to God because I know he is hiking beside me. Steve, I pray you have that same feeling on your journey. Hiking has really gotten me through tough times, and I know it's because I am so close to God outdoors. Thank you for these Bible studies. It's like I'm standing in the middle of Biloxi and Katrina is coming through. Surrounded by overwhelming storm. I need prayer. I thought my life was going good. My spouse has decided to try something new. I just want my family back. I know God invented marriage and that he performed the 1st marriage ceremony. So I know God wants my family back together. I just must trust him and be patient. She will come home . I'm sure of it. Thanks for this devotion this morning Steve. It was meant for me

He is our Faithful, Trustworthy, Covenant-keeping God and Father! He wants us to turn to Him for everything. We only have one chance to praise Him in every situation, every moment. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Sometimes it's hard to get out of my pea brain and remember these things. One breath at a time, one step at a time, one day at a time with the Lord.
