In my opinion, the game is too good to be free. There’s so much you can do in bloxburg that you can’t do in other games and I just love it. Not only that but we have amazing devs that are giving the game amazing updates every month. I can’t wait for next update.

I agree with you: For Bloxburg to grow its player base, it needs more features for role players. 2 things that would help with that: A marketplace for finished player builds (so people who want to role play can easily find and load good builds to play in); and the option to join on build-only or role-play-only servers.

I really dont think bloxburg is ready to be free. at first it'll definitely become an insanely popular roblox game with everyone wanting to try it out, but the only thing bloxburg really has going for it, is its building. if you want to roleplay, there are many other advanced roleplay games on roblox, but if you want to build bloxburg is the best. it will eventually die out, because most of the new people playing will be younger, and they may not understand the advanced building. also, most of the way bloxburg makes money will be gone. even though pretty much everyone who plays roblox heard of the name bloxburg, it's not actually that popular. around it's peak it'll get 100k people playing on average throughout the day, but compared to more advanced rp games like brookhaven who millions play everyday, it will be knocked out of compitition. bloxburg makes its money from its game passes, and the purchase of the game overall. with dozens buying the game everyday, if it becomes free most of their profit would be gone.

As someone who's never played because of the Robux needing to be spent, I think removing it would be a bit of a detriment as Bloxburg currently stands. Sure, it would be very cool to finally play it and see what the fuss is all about, but there's a safety to that price tag that it'd lose. If this is actually implemented, I think there'd need to be some serious changes when it comes to building permissions, alongside development for things to do. Player safety should be a heavy priority for a game like this. That being said, the comments on this video are wild.
I feel like having bloxburg stay as a game you need to buy to play on seems like the best choice. Making bloxburg free is in my opinion not a good idea. For all of the reasons you said, and some others. If it becomes free, all of the people that didn’t want it to be free will quit, and all the new players will play for a while, and then quit as well because there’s not much to do, so it will just be bad for the game. Maybe eventually when the game starts looking like all the best role play games there is on Roblox, then it could be free, but not now.
to be honest, there is no issue with paying 25 robux to play the game, cos its worth it honestly... also this big problem is the fact that other than building and working there's not much to do, nothing to explore, and it would be good if there was more activity in the neighbourhoods... I think making Bloxburg free would be a decently good idea. While there'd be some negatives, I'm really into the roleplaying community and I love to adopt kids. It's gotten really bad over the past 4 years, and roleplaying in public servers just isn't as good. Less people want to do it, which makes for somewhat boring roleplay if its just me and 1 kid. Back around 2020 I'd adopt like 4 or 5 kids at a time, it'd be chaotic but super fun. I'd even get my friend to load up a "city" plot that had things like a school, arcade, restaurants, etc so we'd have activities to do. Making it free might help revive that part of the community as stated in the video. If they added a feature that allowed you to block people from going on your plot (WITHOUT having to block a new person every time someone joined the server...), I think I'd be okay with it.
Please don’t make it free, it ensures mainly serious players will join. Even now the public servers are full of lazy stinky/fly-ridden players begging for money and being weird. Also I want devs to get paid.

Honestly the developers (past ones and new ones) have put in so much work into the development and updates like bloxburg is great game and can get boring sometimes but should defidently cost the amount it does.
I mean, that would be not great.
People can exploit and might steal your Builds.
There are hackers that can break jobs.
Players can break into your house begging for Money.
This is why I don't want free Cause I don't want people to take my build or Spam the report button on my House. ;(

I hope that when there're talking about "map revamp" oh please at least add a school and a few plots only because otherwise it'll be like Brookhaven or Berry Avenue with everything in a town which gets so boring like if we have a coffee shop in the town already it won't be the same fun building one tbh. I think making Bloxburg free would be a decently good idea. While there'd be some negatives, I'm really into the roleplaying community and I love to adopt kids. It's gotten really bad over the past 4 years, and roleplaying in public servers just isn't as good. Less people want to do it, which makes for somewhat boring roleplay if its just me and 1 kid. Back around 2020 I'd adopt like 4 or 5 kids at a time, it'd be chaotic but super fun. I'd even get my friend to load up a "city" plot that had things like a school, arcade, restaurants, etc so we'd have activities to do. Making it free might help revive that part of the community as stated in the video.
If they added a feature that allowed you to block people from going on your plot (WITHOUT having to block a new person every time someone joined the server...), I think I'd be okay with it.
Please don’t make it free, it ensures mainly serious players will join. Even now the public servers are full of lazy stinky/fly-ridden players begging for money and being weird. Also I want devs to get paid.

Let's be real, a game that becomes free after costing 25c (variable) is going to be very bad. it happened to Emergency Repsonse: Liberty County. People that paid for the game knew how to roleplay and play the game, afterwards, cops would randomly pull you over. Only dedicated servers have the intent of roleplay, which don't even roleplay at all. Keep Bloxburg Free!

Ok so as someone who used to not have robux and I hated the game not being free I today am Against making it free because I feel like it gives the game some sort of a special status we all want to reach it one day if the game becomes free it will be worthless like it's not even as good as it seems so if they do want success out of free then they gotta change a lot of things like I kinda regret even buying it in a sense it's just not what I came for I thought it would be a roleplay game it ended up being a building obsession game and it's like u build a nice house and none even wants to roleplay with you..
