- Frank built this street rod Corvair gasser because, well, he wanted one! Check out the details of this hot rod build, from the frame to the suspension. For more photos, videos and your regional calendar of events, visit www.NortheastWheelsEvents.com
Awesome Video! This is my Daddy - he was so proud to send this to me, I cannot thank you enough for posting this. It's unfathomable how many hours we sat in the garage going over details and what he was going to do with it. One of the reasons I am in Automotive today is because of the time I spent with him in that shop, first it was a 52 2 door sedan then the 55 and now the Corvair. I've watched this video 10 times from South Carolina. I showed everyone at my dealership because I am so proud. Thanks again for capturing this!
It was truly my pleasure, Amelia!! The details of your Father's build is very impressive!!! He must be so proud of you, following in his greasy foot steps!! Thanks for sharing and posting your very kind comment, Amelia.
Now that's a cool Gasser!!!!!!!!!!!!
Classical Gas--er !!! ( now I am showing my age! )

Totally awesome as you know I love the gassers and I am also a Corvair lover
I had you in mind Butch!! Allot cleaner, but almost as mean, as your Rambler S/C build! ruclips.net/video/nVQ6tAYl5ro/видео.html
One you definitely don't see every day!!
Just think, Franks drives his creation on the road! Imagine the reactions of the people seeing it!!!
Hello Chevrolet Motor Division, yes it seems my Corvair has them engine in the front and not in the rear. I think it was built on a Monday or Friday. Since the engine should be located in the back. When can I bring it in to swap the engine to the back of the car. By the way it is a lot quicker than the car I test drove at the dealership! Could you keep the same engine?
Dear Mr. MGuigan, We, at Chevrolet Motor Division, are sorry about the inconvenience. Please return your Corvair as soon as possible so we can reverse, I mean, fix, the misplaced engine. By the way, are you getting 100mpg? We are missing an experimental carburetor, too. Please do not tell anyone about this slight mix up, especially Ralph Nader.
@@carshowreporter On second thought I will keep it this way, thanks anyway.
