Wonderful film, Gabriel did a great job. The ending was exciting and wonderful. Ijust wish there was a bit more viewing of the 2 main characters life together. loved it.

The other night I watched the version that was done in 1967 with Alan Bates (which you can watch for free here on RUclips). It was wise of Matthias to refrain from watching that film. The film is so dated it was difficult to watch. I had to skim through much of it because it was so terrible.
