I was lucky enough to go to Oregon camping in the mountains and all I can say is wow what a beautiful place to be. I was in my twenties I'm in my sixties now I never forgot.
So so awesome so much to do and ocean is so close. It's the best place in the world. You will never want to leave that's how beautiful it is. Go OREGON
Jim Kuhn As a fellow Oregonian, I agree with you Jim. My husband made darn sure that he took me to every Oregon sight there is. I have seen all of these and we would take our old 22' RV out on weekends and find places on no map. I have a wonderful lifetime of memories here in my home. Blessed be. Oregon is beautiful.
My home! I used to be able to see Monkey Face from my living room window. I used to run daily on a 3 mile trail with my wolf hybrid. Where I raised my daughters and all of my family still reside. I love my home.. my heart will always be there. I can’t wait to move back.
Oregon is a beautiful place to explore and hike. Of all the Seven wonders in Oregon its so hard to have a favorite, but I'd say it's a tie between the Columbia River Gorge Area and Smith Rock State Park. Crater Lake and the ocean would be tied for second. I have yet to visit the Painted Hills and Wallowa Mountains.
Grant has been doing weekly clips on the local news for like 30 years now it seems. I live in Oregon. But hate Portland area. But Oregon is pretty outside of portland area. Sisters, and Florance, oregon are my favorite spots in the state. 7-27-15
AmericanPride1234 Absolutely nothing wrong with portland. For a "large city" it still has a huge amount of nature and you can easily drive out of the city to these places.

be careful in national parks. a disproportionate amount of disappearances occur every year. never wonder from your group and never allow children from sight
if any of you plan on coming to Oregon be careful if you go hiking or walking any park trails, people here like setting up traps that can hurt you or kill you.
Aggello 7 For all of you slamming the narrator and being little childish “geologists” why don’t you educate instead insult and tell us how old the earth is? I’ll be waiting!
As usual, the pics are great and the synopsis is enticing but he should stay on task of nature guide not geologist chronometer. The earth is not "millions" of years old, nor is anything in Oregon. Vaughn

Oregon residents don't realize how good they have it. Being a native Iowan I'm blown away by the beauty that Oregon offers.
oh believe me we realize how awesome and beautiful our great state is.....well at least I do
+jman42087 we just don't want out-of-staters realizing it, too...
Trust me, I do. If we could keep all the liberal commies and californians from moving here, it would be a much better place.
grumpybb don’t move here it will stay beautiful without the people
Iowa is quite beautiful too. You got let's see corn and .......well I guess you are right lol

I've watch several of Grant's videos. I wish other states would do as much. It just makes me wonder.
I think if any old random bear opened his mouth and started talking, he would sound like this guy.

I can't watch the video anymore without imaging a bear trying to persuade me to visit Oregon.

can you recommend a safe place to go to stay
Paul Brady
You should tell that to the book-burning socialists at Portland state. And the public property destroying anti-Trump rioters.
Also Jennifer moore is art teacher too in obsidian middle school.
Always streaks in the sky. Poison rains on Oregon.
Oregon
"the wallllowwwwwwaaaa mountains"
Grant sounds so much like Charles Kuralt. Is that by chance or on purpose?
Just a roll of the dice ! No need to call Springer :)
Oregon it's people and nature feels more Canadian than American.
lol at Cham
be careful in national parks. a disproportionate amount of disappearances occur every year. never wonder from your group and never allow children from sight
Smith Rock is a awesome place but it just has been over ran with people and crowded . It used to be a much more enjoyable place
if any of you plan on coming to Oregon be careful if you go hiking or walking any park trails, people here like setting up traps that can hurt you or kill you.

cool guy... (don't look at my name)
Don't forget downtown Portland to explore all the different species of sidewalk turds, courtesy of Ted Wheeler and his cronies.
As usual, the pics are great and the synopsis is enticing but he should stay on task of nature guide not geologist chronometer.
