- Such is the life of the early adopter. I had my Galaxy S21 Ultra for about a year (Check out my video going from the Note 10+ to the S21 Ultra here • S21 Ultra from the Not... ). Then Google did something exciting with the release of the Google Pixel 6 Pro. There's a lot to like, a few annoyances, and some major deal breakers. Follow me on a journey from the S21 Ultra to the Pixel 6 Pro, and back again.

That was exactly what I was looking for. Almost every other comparison review on RUclips is just about specs and camera. Your "real use case" comparison was spot on. Also, I have almost the same background when it comes to smartphones. Huge fan of Nexus and Samsung, I've previously owned S3, Note 4, Nexus 6P, Note 9 and Pixel 4 XL. You've helped me a lot. Loved the subtle jokes as well, you deserve way more subscribers. Thanks! (not native English speaker here, so excuse any grammar mistake)

Personally I've been back & forth like you, but had a Note 3 for about 5 years. Currently I've got a Pixel 5 & my wife has Pixel 6 (non-pro). That camera cropping feature decided I wasn't needed with my wife in a few of our wedding photos, kept her in the picture though lol.
Lol, there the advanced AI at work. Google has spoken
that camera shutter lag is frustrating!!! that's why i just use expert raw on auto or promode and eliminates that lag problem and actually takes better pictures :) only downside the files are big :(
I will have to take a deeper dive into expert RAW

You must have loved the S22 Ultra when it came out haha. It was made for you.
I personally hate the squared design. Digs into my hand even with a case. I'm bummed to know whenever my S21 Ultra dies I will probably have to get a squared design or go with a smaller phone.

I do miss the Google assistant for call screening. I might go back on the next pixel release for my personal phone.
It really is a great feature that is disappointing that it is locked to Pixel.

I went through a similar experience and came to the same conclusion. However, I've since sold my S21 Ultra (as well as the Pixel 6 Pro) and gone to an iPhone 13Pro Max. I'm enjoying th eApple experience, but still have one eye for the S22 Ultra - but for me the S Pen is unecessary.
Enjoy the iPhone. I've toyed with that idea a few times, the only iPhone I've ever owned was the 3G. Just hard to convince myself to step into that walled garden.
I'm waiting for a used Cyber truck with the flamethrower upgrade, yeah it's a thing. Once that happens I'll buy one.
Haha. Well I have my reservation in for a dual motor. We'll see what kind of ETA there is for a launch.
man it is so weird that your pixel has a bad connectivity .. it is one of the top phones money can buy when it comes to connectivity .. do you think your device is defected?
I really wanted to but I can't like Google Experience, I find it too flat, the only thing I envy the Pixel a bit and which One UI lacks is the call screen and the speak to chat.
Have you tried the android l beta on the pixel?
I have not yet. Only the official updates. I've heard some good things about the beta though.

Of course not. But I'm spending some more time with it before I put together a video.
Now s21 ultra is prob is not chamging to directly 3x and 10x zoom
I've always been unsure about Google phones. They sound great with the features they provide, but I always hear negative things about performance. Samsung isn't perfect, as I have probably had the most problems with them, more then any other company. I miss window phones.....probably the only person who does!
Microsoft could have had something amazing with Windows phone if they only got the app support. I was actually pretty interested in was Nokia was doing before MS bought their phone business.
I have the 13 pro max and got the pixel 6 for work a few weeks ago and I love it. No issues to speak of now. I like the iPhone and pixel

Samsung promo video 😆 I got 6 p never had this issue you had 😆 with android 13 even finger print scanner works not worse than on the s22u and pixel 6 pro is so much smoother with browsing websites, apps etc If you don't need s pen, pro cera mode, brighter display, pixel 6 pro is much much better choice.
Lol, I do really wish I could have had the Pixel 6 Pro work for me. Definitely not sponsored by anyone. I really hope that Android 13 fixed all the issues.
You pixel fanboys have so much trouble accepting that the phone is poorly made. Stop being a fanboy.
@@mjjones1045 what is poorly made ? Everything works fine better than on my second phone iPhone 12 😂 I am not pixel fanboy. It's my first pixel. I had iPhone 5s, iPhone 8 , iPhone X's and galaxy s10 before. And now I use iPhone 12 as my second phone but going to sell it cause my P6 pro works well and it's better phone.
