Do you have any recommendations on improving captions. Apart from correcting spelling, they are cumbersome. Many of my followers ask for them, so any fine tuning tips would be helpful.
I need help please. I've noticed when uploading a pic meme that is not a video that the description and hashtags do not show on the front with the pic and music that is playing. It has like a bubble that says my name and if I click that then it goes into the comment section and they can click info to see description. What happened and why isn't that info showing on the front? I don't see any settings that would affect that. Also can I change the time it plays? It's only doing 15 secs and the song cuts off. Please help.

Or would this also be true if the video is edited outside of TikTok?
I think TikTok likely has some kind of text recognition software for all videos in order to achieve very effective censorship as well as possibly keylogging or recording the actual text and characters added to videos. I would NOT put it past them. If they have transcription software for caption generation from voice, then text recognition would be rudimentary. (Google can do it. You can actually search your Google photos by a word that appears in a picture, due to their Google Lens and translation technology)

How much do you lose if you're not adding sound from the tik-tok app? The only way i can post to an english audience (USA) is by using a VPN and posting from the browser on desktop and you can't add sounds there sadly, so i have to edit my videos on desktop, add the music while editing and just post. No matter if i speak english and use english captions or not, tiktok will always niche me to local people and community, which sucks.
