One stubborn peter engine
The amount of effort that these guys put into putting that tractor on it and how many guys it took to put that tractor on it. They all could have just taken turns cranking it and gotten it to start and saved gallons of diesel.
Edit: I just got to the end of the video. They did end up just crank starting it instead of using the tire of the tractor. So all that Diesel and time completely wasted.

It's called a PTO (Power TakeOff). I don't know if a PTO can change rotation direction, and the stationary engine may need the opposite direction as the PTO.
