Korg AX3G micro multi effects pedal for guitar

- The Korg AX3G is a really fun machine. Its operating system seems weird and too simplified at first, but you'll quickly realise that a lot of parameters can be edited and once patches are created to match your underlying tone, it sounds really good for the pittance it costs.

I have had this machine for 10 years. I just recently figured out that the output is in stereo and you can plug in headphones, or two amps or even plug it into a tape or cd input on a home stereo. It's also pretty fun to use it as auxiliary effects on a mixer with vocals, the tremolo especially. To make life easier I printed out all the perameters and had it laminated. I'm still amazed that it has stereo capabilities.

how are its modulations? i’m planning to get one for my pedaboard for modulations.
I think it's a good performer in all areas. Mods are good and they can get quite weird if you push them hard :) #gearfacts

Yep it'll work. Run a cable from the keyboard's headphone socket (or one of its lines-out) into the input of the Korg AX3G. Then plug headphones or an amp into the output of the Korg :)

I’m afraid I don’t, it was all just numbers. It’s a preset sound though so if you just go through the one by one I’m sure you’ll find it.
I don't what happen to my korg displays qnd leds all good only problem is not getting sound any idea to reboot this please

That sound uses octave-up, as well as some very heavy reverb :-)

Does it need battery?

@@zainic I use cheap Chinese replacement adapters all the time, I order them by the box. Never had problems. You get the odd one that just doesn't work, but they don't cause any damage.
How is this for live playing?
I'd describe it as 'adequate'. The effect switching system is not ideal for live work. GF
Not ideal at all. I owned one for about a year it's good for home use sounds but the pedal switches will give out at some point they are delicate.
Yes the switches will wear out at some point. I replaced them after some years of moderate use and it's back on the road.
I ended up having two of them in my pedalboard switched with an AB switch. Still cheaper and more satisfying than other expensive multiefx I've tried. Love the chorus and the overdrive is quite good.
I didn't know about this device. In my opinion is better the zoom G1on than this one. The zoom g1ON has more functions and amplifiers, more using hours with batteries, and in my country is cheaper than the korg AX3G. Furthermore this device seems the copy of the Vox stomplab
Hi Fabio, I generally agree. The sound is a little bit different to the Vox Stomplab, but yes it's definitely close. Great value, they're selling for about $US25 at the moment. Gearfacts
