@roro4787 he has a point, the soldiers of Japan are people too, they have family too, but since war turns ordinary people into monsters, the government and military were supposed to restrain the acts of cruelty. Clearly, the Japanese government back then had no such capacity, which made the soldiers believe they can do anything to the powerless. Hell, they even promoted it and conducted inhumane experiments and violated the Geneva convention shamelessly.
It's a shame to see the Japanese government is still so indifferent today. Their biggest crime today is hiding the truth from the Japanese people.

Japan is one of the most religious peoples that suffered from war, but they did not surrender and rose up with a beautiful and intelligent country
But the Japanese were the ones who started the war. They were also the ones who invaded the U.S. in WW2. Talk about imperialism. They were too big for their britches. I am so horribly sad that these people suffered like this though. Many more Chinese died than Japanese. 😢 I am glad Japan and the U.S. are on good terms now.
