Nicely done! Where were you? At the overlook area? One thing that you might consider is to use an audio recorder app on the phone you're using the drone with. Since you're fairly close, it would pick up the train sound.
I counted approx around 80-85 stack cars with 3 locomotives in the front and 2 in the back. There was probably a few more cars but the drone angles were hard to see around the turns. Looks like Intermodal S ( double stack ) BNSF train from above.
No practice. I just filmed it that day the one time the train went through. I barely had enough time to get my drone out to the starting point. I was major rushing to get set up and calibrated lol
Because without this loop the slope for the trains would be too steep. Like the car roads in the mountains have those multiple sharp turns in the opposite directions. You cannot do that for trains, so they used a loop to gain elevation more gradually.
Thank you for your feedback. This was my very first video to attempt any editing with DaVinci Resolve. I've gotten the hang of it a little bit better now after doing more videos.
The colors and the rotating panoramic view of the surrounding countryside were spectacular! Well done!
Great job, @Drone_view! Wonderful place to film by a drone! Great smooth flying too!
It looks like you flew manually, not using the built-int quick shots! Great job!
Thank you!! And yes it was all manual flying. I find myself getting better shots personally doing it myself without all the quick shots
Fantastic. I counted 106 cars. Not including the engines! Great footage!
Thank you!
One of the best shots I've seen. Excellent work.

Wonderful Natural with Train
Beautiful, but when you concentrate, you may ask: what is the purpose of that circle?
Thank you!
And it was a technique they tried back in the days to help with the rise in elevation in a shorter period of time

I noticed there was a Canadian National locomotive on the back.
You have a good eye to notice that haha
Brilliant footage. Did you practice the flight beforehand or just film it on the day?
No practice. I just filmed it that day the one time the train went through. I barely had enough time to get my drone out to the starting point. I was major rushing to get set up and calibrated lol
@@falconflightphotography3069 in that case, fantastic footage!

No entiendo para que tantas vueltas?. Tanto desnivel hay? creo que es puro derroche de costos.

Why?
What are you asking "why?" too?
@@falconflightphotography3069 Why is the route so difficult?
They built that back in the day to help with grade in the mountain for the trains as a technique to rise in elevation easier.
Because without this loop the slope for the trains would be too steep. Like the car roads in the mountains have those multiple sharp turns in the opposite directions. You cannot do that for trains, so they used a loop to gain elevation more gradually.
