On our way to Colorado from California my transmission went out on the car I had for about 2 months in the middle of no where in Utah. Ended up waiting 5 hours for a tow truck and decided to pull my drone out and get a quick video before it got completely dark.

The Point Estero Shipwreck

FUN FACT: The Point Estero was a fishing boat and crashed into rocks on its way back to Morro Bay Harbor from a fishing excursion on July 28, 2017. Coastguard attempted to remove the boat during high tide but were unsuccessful. They estimated that it would cost nearly $175,000 to get the boat out of the rocks and tow it back to Morro Bay Harbor.

I find it funny people sitting on the other side of a screen saying what should have been done and should have slammed on the brakes. Idk if anyone has ever slammed on their brakes on ice...you end up sliding. You don't just stop as you would on a dry road with no ice. And obviously they're watching a video that says a tree falls so they're looking all around and see it when it starts to fall. Idk about you but I watch the road when I drive. I don't stare up at every tree...

Amazing, spectacular. Horsepower? How long is it?
I counted approx around 80-85 stack cars with 3 locomotives in the front and 2 in the back. There was probably a few more cars but the drone angles were hard to see around the turns. Looks like Intermodal S ( double stack ) BNSF train from above.

Catlike reflexes, good alert driving! Also fortunate the hillside prevented the tree from falling all the way to the road as shown by the reverse camera angle.

No practice. I just filmed it that day the one time the train went through. I barely had enough time to get my drone out to the starting point. I was major rushing to get set up and calibrated lol

Nicely done! Where were you? At the overlook area? One thing that you might consider is to use an audio recorder app on the phone you're using the drone with. Since you're fairly close, it would pick up the train sound.
