Great video i do like the break down on kratos i do think rengoku got a bit of harsh treatment we do learn through the manga that rengoku had one of if not the closest connection to ubuyashiki next to giyomei so his lack of aggresion to nezuko was kind of valid and i think the depth we get from rengoku is through his fight with akaza primarly showing his resolve made him the character who he was and thats why his impact on demon slayers is so strong but still amazing vid keep it up waiting for more

Thanks! And I totally agree with your point. Rengoku is one of my favorite character in the anime. Just genuinely wish his writing was slightly better

@@Enimity_Syam true true his writing did lack a bit of substance that other hashira had

I fail to see how his relationship with the master made him not want to off Nezuko, considering their entire purpose is to kill demons and his resolve was just too short to make us care about it. His impact only affected Tanjiro and Senjuro the other character just cry and forget about him with the worst offender being Mitsuri his pupil

@@patrickadetola4153 i dont think the emotion entirely disapeared rather that it got reduced as the masters judgement has always shown to be the correct thing for the hashira to follow.

Just got this video in my recommended, and I have to say, I enjoyed this video a lot! I agree that characters should have flaws, or else the audience can’t relate with them. But, overall good video 👍

Nice video, what do you think about a Character like Arthur Morgan? I think he is like one of the best characters ever write and his development in rdr2 is pretty nice and i always like to know a little more about the characters i like xd

I've actually never played the game but from what I heard it is a pretty well developed story. So I'll try looking into it👍

Thank god you didn't glaze demon slayer.
I think the reason people actually like rengoku is because of how short of a time he was on screen/ chapters.
I think the author wanted to write a character that was supposed to be "impossible to kill" because of how much hope they bring. Like Kamina from Gurren Lagann, Jiraya, Ace, even Gojo all characters who felt impossible to kill which makes their death far more impact. the biggest thing he missed about this characters was that they are extremely flawed, but even so they take the future in hand and march on.

i do like the video you are 100% doing some things right, the editing, the script etc. but, i think one small thing could help the video ALOOOOOOT. Music, just have some background music it would make the video much more enjoyable:)

why would rengoku try to kill nezuko? he was ordered to not do it by the demon corps head and that was before he met Tanjiro. When rengoku said he'd execute nezuko it was before seeing her refuse the wind hashira's blood and learning about urokodaki's letter telling her backstory. He dying was not bad writing either, it was stablished upper moons are strong as 3 hashiras so it was obvious he was not going win that fight. and why call him may sue? mary sues don't die and always autowin with plot armor.
you're misjudging rengoku's character on your own flawed assumptions,
and why compare it to Kratos? Kratos is a main character with like 6+ full games of development from an entire different medium. such a non-sensical comparison.
sorry bro your analysis is garbo and so it captain mack's.

I respectfully disagree. Rengoku's death only really felt like anything because half the arc was the rest of the characters telling us how grate he is then them all having a meltdown when he died. Like, I did feel a bit sad, but it didn't really last with me like some deaths in other media because we basically spent a couple hours with him. As for why he would try and kill Nezuko, it's straight up because she's a demon. Like she's one of the only 3 demons in the entire series that's not a horrible monster, and anyone who's been trained for years to kill every demon they see, and are more than happy to do so, would not trust her even if given the order that she's fine actually. Like yeah, he might not try to dust her the first chance he gets, but he doesn't know her like the audience dose. He would not trust her with humans.
I like Demon Slayer, I really do, but this is a case of bad writing. The show has a lot of writing problems that feel amateurish, many of the characters are one note, there are times where it feels like the mangaka doesn't take into account that some characters don't know others and act like "oh that's just [character] for ya." when in pretty much any other show they would likely called out or get comedicly slapped upside the head.
there's no such thing as a perfect story, and as a fan of something it's important to look at it's flaws, and people on the internet very much don't like that.
