The Battlefield We Deserve

Battlefield 2 is the best example of a moddable battlefield title with active modding communities until this second. If you know how to mod, you can turn the game into almost everything you can imagine.
You can add more weapons, player models, vehicles, maps, gameplay mechanics, etc., and create your own way and style of playing this game locally or over LAN with friends or host a server to play globally.
This game is now abandonware, and it is almost impossible to get the original copy.
DICE, please...
We need more mod-able Battlefield titles in the future.

Completely agree. This video is a good example of this. Being able to play in Valparaiso with this great quality of detail and destruction is wonderful. Since BF3 EA/DICE has been lost in a sea of ​​bills and deception. It's sad to say but that's how it is. Thanks to modders like you, everything good in BF2 is possible. Keep it up!

mods looks really absolute beautiful, you did a good job improving the bot's AI, the immersive element, the customization real time. But pls modder, dont take any good BF2's mechanic out of game, some mod with HUD really cut out system notification, one example is being Commander is impossible due to lack of "Do you want to be commander? press pg up to accept" text. I can't even press the "T" commands. After few minutes of playing non-stop action and intense like BF4 combat, it was fun but i decide to turn off game because it only satisfies the intense experience for one battle, because it's just shoot, die, spawn, shoot, die. Being as Commander can help prolong your own survival, as well as having options to strategically stop enemies from taking objectives rather than just shoot and die. Even though the mod is focused on single player, I feel like you should have kept some "strategic" mechanics. Better than nothing. BF2 for me is BF4 in the Refractor Engine era.
