@@jrg305 It usually isn’t competitive in dance schools like media makes it out to be lol. I’ve made quite a few close friends in my ballet classes ^^
@@sh3rbertbee_ that's good to hear. I used to be in group therapy with a guy who got to Harvard in ballet but then couldn't go pro and he can't get over it. He said he couldn't get his turn down. He had Russian boarding school too (and he's not Russian)

There is such an amazing transformation whenever Tessa starts to dance. It is a treat to watch her.
The technique and those turns are incredible!! Amazing to watch. Add a bit more swan arm and character and this would be a stunning variation for her in my opinion
Was Yesterday in a Swan Lake Ballet Performance and the Prima Ballerina did Not dance anywhere near this
Tessa is going to be an amazing ballerina for years and years. People will come to see her dance because she's Tessa. She will be a star.

OMG Tessa’s lines!! STUNNING!! Her renverses are GORGEOUS!! And her turns are so beautiful!! Even thigh she says she’s not a turner I think she is!! A good true turner has clean technique in their turns!! Her pirouettes are so floaty and beautiful, and her attitude derrière turns are so clean and flory and elegant!! Her port de bras is so soft and pretty!! I don’t she realizes how good she is!! Her pique turns at the end her so floaty and clean and pretty!! ✨❤️
Her arms are sooooo beautiful! I’m also seeing glimmers of Odile. She really should be more confident because I feel she dances the character well-Odile is a mighty one, so it’s really a deep compliment and half of the battle!! This company has amazing dancers

Maybe she wasn’t mentally ready or looking forward to being filmed because maybe she doubted whether she could do it perfectly. Meeting the challenge successfully hopefully gave her confidence.

I think we all know Tessa is an incredibly naturally talented dancer. Her lines are effortlessly beautiful. She has Grace and what I love is watching her develop confidence. You look at somebody like Maia you look at someone like Melanie and you recognize they are incredibly driven, and they will plow through extreme discomfort, stay focused and serious to reach the next level. I would say the same about Amber also. Is starting to get to that point I would say? This has nothing to do with ability, grace strength. It has nothing to do with what they actually dance like it has to do with inner drive I would say? You can have a lot of talent. You can have a lot of training, but at the end of the day if you’re in the 10% of dancers that make it professionally you have to be Laser focused you have to sacrifice pretty much everything else and you have to have so much drive and passion. That’s what I think separates good dancers from great dancers. Has everything she needs to be a great dancer and be a professional what I’ve often wondered about with her and I don’t even feel like it’s fair to do this when someone’s a child but with dance that’s how it is… I have wondered if she has the drive? She seems rather sensitive, which helps a lot with emotive Dancing, but it can make you pull back from pushing through pain, discomfort and insecurity. We all know she has nothing to be insecure about but it’s different when you’re the dancer. I feel like she’s finally going into her final year at NBA and she’s really developing her confidence quickly. We’ve all watched her struggle with turns and I think she gets in her head. I don’t think she has a lack of ability. I think she psych herself out and watching her through this piece, she pulled through. I think she’s developing the mental discipline to push through self doubt and discomfort. I think the next year is gonna be amazing for her. I really hope that whatever she decides to do she’s happy with it because she could be whatever she wants. I hope she knows that she’s a beautiful dancer. I hope she doesn’t feel self doubt, and if she does, I hope she can push through it.
All I can say is, I’ve seen her giggle a lot, and I personally find that very endearing, but it does take her out of the moment and a lot of it seems like she doubts herself. That’s all I’m saying this has nothing to do with her talent her grace, her strength is nothing to do with her ability. It has to do with her mental Tenacity and I know I couldn’t do it. I do not have the discipline for this sport. And frankly, it’s not my choice to make. I think we would all love to see her become a professional ballerina, but at the end of the day it’s what she wants to do with her life, and just because somebody can do something doesn’t mean they should but I think she’s starting to make concrete decisions about moving forward because her performances are different. She looks like she’s coming into her own power.

She might be a little silly in the studio but she obviously does the work and is full out on stage. She's already traveling to take on guest roles at other theaters. I think she'll be fine.
