Thank you for the information on Nemadji pottery. Your video was very informative. I had mistaken it for Native American, so thanks for the heads up. I have one pot and I noticed that I get sucked into the swirling designs when I look at it; it's hypnotizing.

Thank you for writing!!! I love Nemadji too - it’s so, so beautiful! I hope it doesn’t go up in price too much bc it’s going to be harder for collectors

Just bought a "Navajo Wedding Vase" style that is Nermadji from a Habitat for Humanity store. It caught my eye from across the store, as well as another person. I have loved on the Navajo Reservation and never saw anything like it. I hope people buy it because the like it. To know it isn't being produced is a bonus for us who have this pottery.
Video was short, sweet and concise, so good job.
Oh, I paid 3.00 for mine

I have 12 pots. ranging from 4" to 10" in pretty much every color.
I love my nemadji's 😊 and i will NEVER part with them, no matter how much they're worth.
in fact, i'm pretty obsessed with them and I hope to increase my collection significantly.
it's getting harder and harder to find them at a reasonable price though. especially the bigger pieces.

Several other companies made similar looking pieces. They are not all Namadji. Namadji Pottery was primarily aimed at the tourist trade, using designs similar to old Ojibway designs. It is not made by Native Americans! The clay often came from other parts of the country. Still It is beautiful. Please do a lot of research because there is a lot of confusion and misinformation regarding this particular pottery.
