Went to Island of adventure about a week ago and rode everything, but hulk thoroughly surprised me. I feel like now it gets overlooked because velocicoaster is in the same park
@@CoasterHorizonsdifferent rides with different intents. I rode hagrids and veloci before hulk. Hulk is noticeably more forceful on the positives and the whippiness. Veloci is forceful but more so on ejecter and floater (and a lot of weird banks that really makes it interesting). That last roll is pure insanity. Theming amps everything up too. Hagrids is probably one of my favorites to ride even if not my favorite on paper. Hagrids night ride, motorcycle seat leaning forward, in the front, is borderline magical. And then you have the next door 2-3 coasters that all do well with their segments
The first half feels so fast paced and that cobra roll feels so much more intense than the one on Dominator. The second half is kind of like Firebird at SFA.
rode this the other night 5 times in a row, and i can honestly say the back row right corner seat is magic. that first launched corkscrew into the cobra roll is nuts at night
The current version definitely isn’t as loud as the original. I heard the old track had hollow reinforcement or something like that specifically to make it roar as loudly as it did.
I’ve rode about 30 coasters in my life and this one hands down, has been my favorite since I was 8. Visited in April after 9 years of not going since I now live out of state and still confirmed, my favorite.
I just got back from my week trip there and it was actualy pretty fun, I didn't go on the Hulk but I was thinking about it. I did go on the Velocicoaster and it was so much fun. At Volcano Bay (Still Universal Orlando) I went on the body plunge from almost the top of the volcano to the bottom twice
This is my favourite roller coaster this is what got me into roller coasters after that I went on pipe line manta. Then I came back to universal and rode velocicoaster …. Traumatising speeds. I’ve been on the hulk twice
how? Velocicoaster, Hagrids, Hulk, Spiderman, FJ, Kong, ripsaw in IOA alone. then add in studios and u got gringotts, mummy, RRR, bourne, transformers, etc. add in epic universe and they’ll be complete
I get what he means though. I want to one day make a video about why I feel IoA and Studios need a lot of work but. Jurassic Park the ride is in shambles, So is cat in the hat, Hagrid still has frequent break downs, Who the fuck bases a ride on a night show host?, Fast and the furious is the worsr ride ever made, Transformers is a clone of spiderman almost 1:1 which is NEXT DOOR, the new minions game is a shitshow, Simpsons was dated the day it came out, Kong is in my opinion is just a slightly better Fast and Furious, Rip ride rocket is in desperate need of a re-track or redesign because it's miserable to ride. A lot to do at universal is just bad. And a lot are just out right a waste of space.
@@Chaogod1233 y'all gotta just embrace the rides every now and then, yea they are in need of refurbs but certain rides just have that charm that make it all worthwhile, personally I think islands of adventure in universal studios is well worth it. (the other park is ass except for the mummy, MIB, and Gring gots.)
"Gave up on the scenery"? It's meant to seem like the nevada desert. Your in a secret military testing facility, so it only makes sense that you are at Area 51 in the middle of the desert in nevada.
Thanks for the video it looks really fun. Could you review the Hagrids Motorbike coaster at universal please ? I know it smaller but I still want to know what it’s like
Imo that one was not very fun, and not very smooth. No loops so it's a bit plain but I think it would be a great option for kids or anyone who is new to rollercoasters.
@@M-NL2 I’m aware. My friend their are FAR more than 5 rides worth visiting Universal Orlando for. And that’s before including Volcano Bay and the amazing seasonal events.
@Iamthewillrose Islands of Adventure specifically. It's not an insult to the resort, I'm praising the fact that just those few specific rides are already worth the visit there
I mean they may only have like “five rides” but they’re some of th best rides on the planet. Disneyland literally has like 1 or 2 coaster per park that SUCK I don’t think u can shit on universal.
I don't think many people understand that I'm complimenting the park by saying that it has only a few rides in which those rides alone are enough to make it worth visiting. As in if I only rode Velocicoaster. Hulk, and Hagrid's, I would find it worth to visit already.
Went to Island of adventure about a week ago and rode everything, but hulk thoroughly surprised me. I feel like now it gets overlooked because velocicoaster is in the same park
Helps make the hulk line shorter at least
hulk pales in comparison to velocicoaster but not enough people talk about it, it’s an intense looper

@@M-NL2Hydra has a great Cobra Roll
Nothing like getting stuck upside down for hours 😂
@@SUGAR_XYLER I don't think that's ever happened on Hulk. I can only think of one actual roller coaster I know that people got stuck upside down on.

The music is godly when on the ride btw there's is speaker's on it
as a bgw local i appreciate the mention
Hulk is one of the greatest coasters ever made, I love how you can hear it all the way from city wall😂
The current version definitely isn’t as loud as the original. I heard the old track had hollow reinforcement or something like that specifically to make it roar as loudly as it did.
This ride was the first coaster ive ever rode and its also the one that made me fall in love with them
OK YOURE TRIPPING WITH THAT INTRO THO
“laterally yeeted” i’m definitely gonna use that 😂
and finally some love for alpengeist’s cobra roll

Yeah, they really don't have enough rides. Been my biggest critique of IOA and Universal since I was a kid enthusiast hahah.

Blud is talking faster than Veliocicoaster
Dayum thats fast😂
Went on the hulk for the first time when I went on an 8th grade field trip. To both parks. That zero-g roll and cobra roll are really snappy
I mean honestly they have some of the best dark rides and 3 insane coasters

Me, my dad, and both of my brothers went on this ride before
Alpengeist does have a great cobra roll, but I do love Dominator’s smaller cobra roll with the floorless trains at KD.
2023 was year I went on this and I loved it as I had already gone on velocicoaster as it felt weirdly slower
That launch into a roll took me tf out though.
Your 60 second reviews are some of the best shorts on the site.
Thank you so much! That means a lot :)
This was my first ever loop de loop and it was the best ride I ever experienced
Really good looking first half but the second half takes away that kick you get in the first half
Yup, sums it up pretty well
Definitely need some calmness after that crazy amazing first half I like it honestly
Personally I wish they would have made it a floorless coaster when they redid it.
I love universal
I rode this at night highly recommend the green flashes everywhere it’s amazing
Still my fav
cool video

I have never went to the island of adventure yet.
It's amazing at night
Bros talking more than your ps4 can render
Hulk was just getting old lol so they retracted it so it wouldn't be rough
I’m still surprised that this is three feet taller that Georgia Scorcher and GS looks small when you stand near it when going to the entrance of SFOG.
I'm surprised how short this ride is, I checked a few different sources because I didn't initially believe the wiki, but yup it's barely over 100
