As soon as I get the notification, I watch! I just fitted a floating shelf in the bedroom just for all of your fragrances that I have bought. I have had about 10x more compliments in the last month than the last 15 years of my life. Thanks Aaron.
I agree with Boss Bitch! That sultry tobacco mixed with patchouli and oud is fabulous. Warm and inviting. Haven’t had the pleasure of trying out Oud and Luna yet but they are on my list.
Great review Aaron ! This is the luxury version of Mugler Alien. I love them both in my wife. Another two tuberose fragances I love are the old Amarige and Carnal Flower. Best wishes from Mexico my friend.
His name was MALACHI (no "T"). He was TERRIFYING and set redheads back 50 years!!! Another quality review. I can't wait to get my nose on your sample pack!
Yeah, Madonna used Fracas by Robert Piguet but she also helped create her OWN fantastic, bubble-gummy tuberose fragrance called Truth or Dare (go figure)..lol! I LOVE Rouge Malachite myself - it is considered a Boss B!%ch fragrance - so, I think its interesting that you described it as 'corporate'...The sweeter, baby sister of this fragrance is Dolce & Gabbana's The Only One Intense for Her - If you ever want to review something similar...I would be curious how you would compare the two. Thank you as always for your thoughts...xoxo
He meant "corporate" in terms of the setting responsible for this type of fragrance. It smells relatively safe (which isn't automatically a bad thing), as though the perfumers were given a very specific brief on the kind of perfume they were supposed to create, and didn't stray from that.
Tuberose is one of those notes I have problems with in fragrances. Sometimes it smells 'old' or stuffy, other times it smells absolutely carnal and of a woman's flesh. I don't care for it in general but if its well-blended with other florals then it can elevate a scent. I actually feel the same way about orange blossom, neroli, jasmine sambac, ylang-ylang, tiare, frangipani, etc. Very problematic notes for me and so often used in the summer time for those 'beachy' type of scents that make me sick to my stomach.
Yes, I have similar issues. Most women's summer fragrances I won't even touch because they're often loaded with white florals, which I can't tolerate under ordinary circumstances, let alone in extreme heat.
I relate. I wish I could enjoy that range of notes, but they genuinely make me gag or retch on an atavistic level. Having said that, Penhaligon’s Heartless Helen is the sole tuberose that I can tolerate, and actually enjoy. I smelled it in the Athens airport and it has been stuck in my mind since then.
If you have IG, follow Aaron, he always puts a Preview photo, indicating he's going to do a video. It helps cause he does it early on, so you get all excited to watch the video. Just a recomendation 😊
Can you PLEASE review Santal 33 from Le Labo. I just found your channel and have been binge watching your videos and I love how you break down fragrances it’s fascinating. Thank you!
Totally agree with your review. According to Madonna she mentioned in her interview recently that she is using Portrait of a lady. This year she did some Instagram posts with her personal used bottle 🌹.
Love your reviews man. You’re the only fragrance guy I’ve decided to follow despite watching some of the others quite often. You give us something the rest cannot. This is a random designer fragrance that’s decent that I could not find more than one review on despite being a flanker in a well known line. Would you be kind enough to review Gucci Guilty eau pour homme? It’d be nice to have a legitimate person’s thoughts on it.
Hey Aaron! I recently discovered a fragrance from Mancera which has really enchanted me! I walked into my local debenhams recently to try out red tobacco and came across Mancera “Hindu Kush”. I sprayed it thrice on my sleeve and it’s lasted for 3 days on my skin underneath even after showering about 5 times. Would love your review on it! Also “Crazy for Oud” by Mancera is quite nice! FANTASTIC Work on the videos mate! I look differently at fragrances now thanks to you!
Nice review, this is the sexiest fragrance I have ever smelled for a woman, they dont sell in United States, so when I was in Prague on vacation I bought my wife a bottle, now it is a vivid scent memory of our vacation when she wears it.
I think that a lot of master perfumers that work for designer and niche fashion/perfumery houses might feel like if they push the envelope that the particular fragrance that they've either worked on or are working on might not sell well. Either that or corporate getting involved to make sure that the fragrance goes in line with the current trends and what's crowd pleasing/mass appeal in order to maximize sales and profits. They're essentially playing it extremely safe since it's very... Very costly to produce hundreds & thousands of units that might sell or might not sell so they want to make sure that if they put out a fragrance out there that it will sell surprisingly well.
Unfortunately yes. When i got it i loved the scent and thought (hoped) it will last forever on me but i had to find out that there is zero sillage and projection at least in my case.. i think it‘s more of a „close to skin“ perfume but that‘s not what all people raved about. Complete opposite 😕 too expensive for this performance
The Children of the Corn reference is Malachi "My Messenger", a Jewish prophet in the Hebrew Bible. Hebrew is a difficult language to learn, but I imagine you would love the biblical language for the artistic poetry that leaps off every page.
Great review as per usual Aaron! Quick question, is rosin (colophonium) used within perfumery? Im allergic and find it within soaps etc. but wonder if I should be more diligent with perfumes as I guess there might be perfumes out there that I should avoid.
love tuberose. here we have real tuberose and the smell of fresh picked flowers is incredible. i havent smelled an identical tuberose perfume as the flower petals thought. im thinking of enfleurage because the accords i have tried dont come close. its such a beautiful, creamy, fresh white floral.
As a straight man, who also leans for modern next-gen scents, thus who hates outdated notes like Tuberose, i have to clap my hands to Rouge Malachite, they did a Tuberose fragrance really gorgeously. Wouldn't mind smelling it again to retest to get a better understanding of it's dna. It's a little forgettable, wasn't exciting enough for me to rave on about. This is also reviewer Demi Rawling's favorite signature fragrance out of the hundreds she owns.
I love real tuberose (it grows where I live) but I love it in the air, like gardenia it only smells good to me in real life and wafting through the air, smelling it growing outdoors or smelling it in a vase indoors in a room. I have never loved tuberose in perfumery, though, because too much tuberose in concentration in perfumes can be overwhelming and does not smell like the flower. There are certain flowers that perfumers so far have not been able to get right for me, namely tuberose and gardenia.
Do you reckon the perfume houses do it on purpose " Aaron is going to review this... What shall we call it.... Prive un Jardin de jour de hibiscus 😂" tricky blighters
I need a white floral signature scent that give me Dubai rich luxurious vibes .. that everyone can smell me.. I Love elie saab but thats the signature from my husbands sister 🤮.. and l interdit is from the other sister the signature.. can any one help me? I love tuberose , Jasmin, orangeblossom .. I hate green, citrus, balsamiac perfumes!
I would love a review for dior fahrenheit le parfum and ysl body kouros these two fragrances are unique and beatiful and body kouros is very underrated.
I got armani rouge melachite from my daughter as a Christmas present as she knew I wanted to buy that fragrance but what a huge disappointment. Highly overrated scent, expensive but worthless, scent didn't last long, after half an hour is odorless despite over spraying.
As soon as I get the notification, I watch! I just fitted a floating shelf in the bedroom just for all of your fragrances that I have bought. I have had about 10x more compliments in the last month than the last 15 years of my life. Thanks Aaron.
🦄🦄🦄🦄🦄🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️
Your top 3 fragrances from Aaron?
My top three favourites right now are Boss Bitch, Oud and Luna. I would be interested to hear other peoples top 3's?
I agree with Boss Bitch! That sultry tobacco mixed with patchouli and oud is fabulous. Warm and inviting. Haven’t had the pleasure of trying out Oud and Luna yet but they are on my list.
No need to be embarrassed about the pronunciation! You are sooooo charming and your voice is amazing, a true storyteller! Thank you!

You have no idea how excited I am that you’re reviewing this! 😍
Maddona uses FRACAS. The vintage, classic, set the bar for all other tuberose, apparently.
Finally been waiting for this one!!!
Thanks for your consistently excellent reviews! 👍
Good luck with your Spanish learning Aaron!
I could listen to you all day haha
Always glad to see you again Aaron, thanks for the review
Brilliant review as always! Can you please review DS & Durga Burning Barbershop?…. Would love to see your thoughts on this house.
It was love at first sniff. I usually don't really like tuberose as I note but for some reason I'm falling for this fragrances.

I have the Only One Intense. It is so pretty 🥰
He meant "corporate" in terms of the setting responsible for this type of fragrance. It smells relatively safe (which isn't automatically a bad thing), as though the perfumers were given a very specific brief on the kind of perfume they were supposed to create, and didn't stray from that.
Liked before watching cause Aaron only makes 🔥🔥🔥
I've had a bottle since 2016 and I think it's among the best unisex perfumes out there

Luv the reviews!
By far the best fragrance channel on YT. AftershaveDave✌
Thanks for this review Aaron.
I was just site surfing looking for something new & right on time you drop another review!

Children of the Corn was released in 1984, I was 11, and Malichi freaked the sh*t out of me! I might need to rewatch that one!
Can you PLEASE review Santal 33 from Le Labo. I just found your channel and have been binge watching your videos and I love how you break down fragrances it’s fascinating. Thank you!
Would love a review on Santal 33 too!
Love it when you go deep into the different molecules of a perfume :)
Totally agree with your review. According to Madonna she mentioned in her interview recently that she is using Portrait of a lady. This year she did some Instagram posts with her personal used bottle 🌹.
Ti si legenda. /you are legend. Now you know Croatian as well :) 🇭🇷 or miris /smell of pafrume
Love your reviews man. You’re the only fragrance guy I’ve decided to follow despite watching some of the others quite often. You give us something the rest cannot.

Tu Español es muy bueno! Amazing Review! i love Tuberose! thanks for the Reviews...its always pleasant to hear your Opinion!
Muchas Gracias!!

As if I didn't love you enough already, you go and mention Children of the Corn. hahaha great movie and yes, super scary kids!
Aaron please try prada l'homme, It's an amazing Clean ambery fragrance for the office!!!
People rave about this perfume it’s not bad I just wasn’t convinced it was worth the money.
Same. I can buy Twilly by Hermes. That seems better to me.

I got this because of your review!
I love tuberose, has that camphorous side to it, somewhat of a medicinal smell, also has that vintage vibe to it. Forever one of my favorite notes.
The Children of the Corn reference is Malachi "My Messenger", a Jewish prophet in the Hebrew Bible.
Hebrew is a difficult language to learn, but I imagine you would love the biblical language for the artistic poetry that leaps off every page.
I would LOVE to see what you would do with tuberose (one of my fav. notes)
I'm hoping my girl will love it
I find these video so Relaxing I can’t ne only one.
Great review as per usual Aaron!

Courtney Love also wore Fracas as did Madonna. They wore it in the 90s, possibly even earlier.
I love white florals but tuberose is really cloying in high amounts, I like this fragrance since it rounds it out and makes it lovely.
Aaron, please review Armani's 'Cuir Zerzera' for the most amazing fucking burst of buttery powdery 1980's lipstick iris!! 🥰
You should try Tommy Hilfiger Impact Intense, it's fairly cheap and I hear great things about it.
As a straight man, who also leans for modern next-gen scents, thus who hates outdated notes like Tuberose, i have to clap my hands to Rouge Malachite, they did a Tuberose fragrance really gorgeously.

What do you do with the perfumes after you have tested them?
I love real tuberose (it grows where I live) but I love it in the air, like gardenia it only smells good to me in real life and wafting through the air, smelling it growing outdoors or smelling it in a vase indoors in a room. Is this oder ysl supreme bouqet better? And which one is more crowdpleaser
Can you do etat libre d'orange hermann please? I'd love to hear your opinions on that
Yes, exactly, that fatty part is actually missing in fragrances, because they're not using the real deal.
Please review Armani Prive Vert Malachite
I see what you mean by adding some smoke and all, but if something is good, sometimes why risk it😢
Hindu Kush …That one sounds powerful…and almost smokable!! 🤣😂🤣😎
Informative
Madonna use Fracas by Robert Piguet
Then copied it when she put out her own fragrance !
Do you reckon the perfume houses do it on purpose " Aaron is going to review this... What shall we call it.... Prive un Jardin de jour de hibiscus 😂" tricky blighters
Blimey, you're such a poet....if all fails (God forbid) you have that to fall on...
The notation about dedication of this beauty to Russia was offensive.
Offensive to Russians? Why? I don’t understand.
Lol i remember Malachite from the movie too 😂🩸
I would love a review for dior fahrenheit le parfum and ysl body kouros these two fragrances are unique and beatiful and body kouros is very underrated.
Love tuberose ❤️
It’s smells like d&g the one intense.
