Hey! I work in a pharmacy so I can explain the no-stock thing :) basically they won't know if you'll ever have another prescription for Accutane again (you could go to a different pharmacy, have to stop taking it etc) so that's why they won't keep a lot of stock of expensive items in. We've had unusual/expensive items just sit on our shelves til they went out of date because we never had another prescription for them. Hope that cleared it up, i get it it's annoying having to come back though!
I have like 4 different quilt covers I rotate through depending on season. In Australia we (typically) have a separate room, laundry room, with a door that leads to the clothes line. Or in rentals the washing clothes area is in the garage 😊
In Australia we usually have a laundry room with a washing machine, dryer (some homes, most people use a clothes line), sink and cupboards under the sink. I have two sets of bedding for each bed in my house. The bedding is not always dry hanging it out on the clothes line at the end of the day when you live in Melbourne!
Those flared jeans look amazing Grace! Another great and sweet vlog. You always make me less anxious and more positive. I hope you are doing well. Take care of yourself.
I think it’s just because in average American homes tend to be a bit larger since the construction is newer, so most American homes will have a dedicated space or room to laundry.
Same day bedding , nothing better then the felling of getting into freshly washed & dryer dry bedding !! Also washing machine in the kitchen ? In Ireland older styled houses have it in the kitchen but modern houses have a utility room a small room that connects back door to the kitchen (Backdoor-Countertop with washing machine and presses for outdoor clothing -door into kitchen ) I know Americans have large laundry rooms 😍 the dream ! I think every Irish person can relate to when unannounced visitors arrive in through the back door seeing all the laundry you’ve yet to do 😂
You may not see this, but if you do... I love you!! You are such a huge part of my daily routine. Just as much as going to class or brushing my teeth. You give so much inspiration and you're such a joy to watch. AND, this community is amazing. Anyway, stay safe!
I wash, dry, and replace my bedding in one day. In the US alot of newer homes have laundry rooms for the washer and dryer. Ours is just the size of a large closet that fits a side by side washer and dryer. Some are really big and fancy with built in ironing board closet, a deep soaking sink, storage cabinets for cleaning products, etc.
Grace please never stop talking about christmas! It makes me feel so christmassy as well, I think loving Christmas is just a part of your personality! My birthday is tomorrow and I always say that I'll slowly start my christmas addiction after my birthday... meaning that I'll watch Home Alone while enjoying a German Kinderpunsch (you would love that!) And some Lebkuchen 😍
Hi Grack, in New Zealand they have a laundry room which is a small room usually not far from the kitchen, or in some of the modern houses they put them at the end of the garages 😁
In Australia, we have a laundry, which is a whole other room that you put a washing machine and dryer in. I also have a cabinet of things like towels or an ironing board and the cat litter in mine. Some houses don’t have one, or change it into a second/third bathroom.
Never commented on a video before but just wanted to say I love that you are buying snacks for the teachers and school staff 😭❤ you seem like such a kind and lovely person. Your videos are a little ray of sunshine during really rubbish times! X
In Ireland you more than often see the washing machine in the kitchen too but a utility room wouldn't be uncommon. Here in the Middle East there tends to be a downstairs toilet that doubles up as a washing machine room also.
We have at least three sets of bedding for each bed in the house and as soon as u take the dirty ones off and chuck them in the washing pile I put a clean set on. Our washing machine is in the utility room I'm not keen on then being in the kitchen as they are so noisy!
Grace I was after the exact same style coat last winter and Uniqlo is the place to go! I have a knee-length plain black puffa from there with pockets, it's super warm, has a hood and it doesn't look ridiculous. It kept me warm all last year cycling to uni! xx
Grack... just want you to know that no one looks cute in a puffer coat BUT they do look warm! I vote to keep it if it fits your arms and keeps you warm!!!
Typically in the U.S. middle class and upper middle class families will either have their laundry machines in the basement or in a separate laundry room. Apartments that have their own washer and dryer will typically have a closet that has a stacked washer and dryer or a similar set up. There are also apartments that have shared laundry rooms. I think the difference is that in the U.S most washers and dryers would be out of site so it might be in the kitchen, but here it would be in a closet in the kitchen.
In the USA we have such big houses we have a dedicated room just for the washer and separate dryer machine plus a extra sink and storage for detergent and towels and things....
In America we have laundry rooms in larger homes (mostly ones built in the last 25 years or so) and older homes tend to have a laundry closet... Which is exactly as it sounds 😄 An extra closet built in your hallway that has hose/electric hookups for your washer and dryer (so basically it just is a built in cubby with doors on front to close off the washer from sight)
Grace, your heart is SOOO beautiful, the way you love others eghhh it makes me so happy, you show God's love through your videos and it's just amazing to see xxx
In the US washing machines are in the basement, garage, separate building, mud room, bathroom, hallway closet, or designated laundry room. Also, we typically do not have one machine that washes and dries.
I have a second set of sheets but not a second comforter. I feel like most people I know have their washer in the basement or a closet (in apartments) but I do know someone who has it in their kitchen. I always want to know where you got your gray star duvet. I love it!
So happy to see a new video! You always make my day better. I live in the U.S. and life is very stressful right now. You remind me that there are kind and thoughtful people in this crazy world. I truly thank you!
In Australia we have laundry rooms. But also if you're in a flat or a smaller house, the washer will be in a bathroom. In America I know they're big info their Landry rooms 😂 they usually have huge laundry rooms.
In the US (in most houses) we have a separate laundry room for the washer and dryer. It’s usually a small room, just big enough to house the machines, an ironing board, and maybe a clothes rack. In apartments the washer and dryer are usually in the pantry...which, to be fair, is in the kitchen, so I don’t know why people are quite SO shocked that the UK has them in the kitchen.
Grace, you are the sweetest person I know of and so selfless...You never do anything without thinking about others.... The persons I admire in this pandemic are the people in the shops and the lorry drivers who deliver the goods to the shops. Let's be honest, as much as medical people are extremely important to save our lives, supermarket workers are also extremely important for keeping us alive and they have never got the thanks they deserved...As for the lorry drivers, they had to continue delivering, driving for a long time sometimes, and they could not even stop for a hot meal or coffee during lockdown as all those places along the roads were closed...Did we say thanks to them? Nope...Was their profession even acknowledged at any time during this time?
Ok no one asked for this but I’ve lived in the UK and USA both for extended periods of time and here is a breakdown of washing machines in both: UK: Often located in kitchen, especially in a city/smaller house or apartment Many mid-size to large houses (usually not located in cities) will have a utility room housing washing machines Dryers are not super common, so most people use a drying rack or washing line to hang clothes to dry. However, some washing machines are washer/dryers and some people do have a separate dryer USA: Most people have washers and dryers, and often in a separate laundry room However, having lived in a city... Some apartments in cities don’t have washers or dryers at all In apartments in big citites, washers and dryers are often either in bathrooms, walk in wardrobes or in a little nook behind a door - not in their own room. Not enough space! Dryers are very common Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
In nz, a lot of houses have a wash house, which could be inside the house or outside, usually near the back door. I used to think it weird to see washing machines in kitchens, but its common in apartments here.
Where I live washing machines are placed in one one of the bathrooms, some random laundry room at the roof floor (bigger houses) or a its own tiny room somewhere in the house, or the kitchen!
In Canada we usually have our washer/dryer in the bathroom or have a separate laundry room. I guess that's the luxury of having so much space in Canada? idk
Grack! You should check Aritzia for puffer coats!! I'm not sure if they ship to the UK but they have a range of colours, lengths, and fabrics! They're made for up to -30 degree weather so they definitely do the job. :)
Hey Grace, something I learned very recently (like last week lol) is that a lot of big retailers like ASOS don’t always re-package returns to be bought again - they just ditch them! 😧 no judgment or shame, but it def has me re-thinking how I shop online to minimize returns, so I figured you might want to know too.
My bedding is a guilty pleasure...lol I have four sets I rotate. They are all different colors. It sounds weird but I started having anxiety over the last winter. I just felt so depressed. I bought 4 sets in bright colors and it's amazing how much it affected my mood. :)
I use to wash a sheet and put a different one on. Now days i've been washing it and putting it back on then I don't have to fold it..lol But to recap...I do both ways depending on mood....ALOS..I live in Canada, AB and most houses have a washing machine in the basement...or the newer houses are building them in a room upstairs/top floor. I have also seen then in an off room/washroom on the main level. NEVER have I ever seen it in a kitchen here lol . Clothing smells with food smells? hmm
Haha. We don't tend to have basements in the UK... Old houses have cellars but they are usually dark and sometimes damp so not used for anything. Modern houses don't have a basement but some have a utility room where they keep the washing machine. Mainly they live in the kitchen though!!!!!!
American laundry situation: -Most homes have a separate room for the washer and dryer its called the laundry room -In apartments (flats) there can be a community laundromat or in the apartment (flat) there is a small closet to hide the washer and dryer one on top of the other in a hallway between a kitchen and bathroom usually. I couldn’t imagine having that in a kitchen tho 😂

Thank you for offering the time to share our worries Grace! I'm asking for all the prayer warriors out there to pray for my brother Tyler. He fell 18 feet and broke his pelvis. He is in surgery now. We appreciate all we can get at this time. 💜🙏💞
i wish your family all the best and your brother a quick recovery. all will be well :)
@@Ati422 Thank you kindly for your words and wishes!!
it will get better, sending you all the love :)
Can't get enough of that extra Grack! I can't decide which i love more the main channel or here, but both are awesome, and I'm glad that you can still post here if you arent feeling up for a full main channel vid. It's just so nice to chill out and see what you're up to and it always makes me smile
Going crazy writing job applications and being rejected but glackle uploads just always cheer me up
Awww bless you. Keep trying, the right job will turn up eventually 🙏❤️
You're such a kind hearted person. I also love the pure joy and happiness you get when you're treating you're treating the ppl you love. Just started watching your channel. 💗
The reason why I watch both channels is your authenticity....loving and singing Christmas Carol's in September...loving teddies....baking cookies just because you feel like it....stay the way you are Grace! You are awesome!
Hi grace!
I have at least 10 duvet covers, so i always change it to a new one when I wash them!
Also in Australia, we usually have laundry rooms.. which means the washing machine, dryer etc is in its own room ☺️ some people have them hidden away in a hallway cupboard as well.
Grace try Uniqlo for the black puffer !
I was going to suggest this! Uniqlo have the best plain long black puffers and the sleeves are long!
I was going to say the same.
literally paused the vid just to say this - good thing i scrolled down first!
Uniqlo is bad if you are tall though so not sure they'd work for her. Definitely more aimed at average height people.
If grace had a meet and greet I feel like it would defo have the best vibes and like we’ve known each other for ages!
So true!! ♥️I'd totally love that
Yes!!!
Hi Gracie. I no longer have a duvet. I have three of those large fleece blankets because I can fit them individually into my washing machine and they are easy to dry. You can also reduce the number in use in the Summer. Cheers.
Love Christmas shopping in September! Absolute best time of the year for it! Definitely not too early for Christmas, especially this year!
I've normally had 1 duvet set for years, so same as you, I washed it & put it back on in the evening, but I just bought a SECOND set, I knooow - wild!! Lol! So now I can just swap it straight away!
From a teacher- they will not think you are weird they will love you so much!
Watching old vlogs while I wait for the Xmas vlogs! Can't get enough of them Graceeeeee. 🥺💕
HI GRACK! your skin is GLOWING 🥰🥰🥺
Maybe helping out at a food distribution center for those in need??
Or dog walker for people who can't leave the house?
i tried to sign up for a food distribution center and they told me they’re not accepting volunteers because of the pandemic :(
@@jessicabeshay :( I would try others as I certainly know people who are volunteering at ones local to me xxx
I live in Philadelphia, PA in a 125 yr old row home. Most did or still do have washer/dryer in the kitchen. I love it! So convenient!
Hope that cleared it up, i get it it's annoying having to come back though!
grace you suit those flares so much
the flares are cute I love flares!
The bedding is not always dry hanging it out on the clothes line at the end of the day when you live in Melbourne!
those flare jeans with a turtle neck would look so good!!
Those flared jeans look amazing Grace! Another great and sweet vlog. You always make me less anxious and more positive. I hope you are doing well. Take care of yourself.
Here in the states...we have our washer/dryer in the basement or a laundry room
In America, we normally have a closet or separate laundry room with the washer and dryer :)
Aww Gracks snacks for the staff at your sister's school. Grace you're such a sweetheart ♥️
In the USA the washer/dryer is in the laundry room. Some laundry rooms have a utility sink as well.
Ugh grace this is exactly what I needed today!! Your energy is honestly so infectious 😊 you’re a gem xx
Primark specifically made those flared jeans for you! You definitely full them off!!
In the USA we have such big houses we have a dedicated room just for the washer and separate dryer machine plus a extra sink and storage for detergent and towels and things....
In Australia we have laundry rooms, where we keep the washing machine, dryer and ironing board. It's usually the room that leads to the backyard.
Grace, you’re like sunshine in human form ❤️
I have a second set of sheets but not a second comforter. I feel like most people I know have their washer in the basement or a closet (in apartments) but I do know someone who has it in their kitchen.
I always want to know where you got your gray star duvet. I love it!
You genuinely make my day better ... always love ur vids grack. Loved the “it’s just us” comment
So happy to see a new video! You always make my day better. I live in the U.S. and life is very stressful right now. You remind me that there are kind and thoughtful people in this crazy world. I truly thank you!
In Australia we have a seperate laundry with the washing machine, tumble dryer and a sink usually.
Those blue flares were lit! Of course, sometimes you just don't "feel," it with some items of clothing, but they honestly looked great on you.
Ok no one asked for this but I’ve lived in the UK and USA both for extended periods of time and here is a breakdown of washing machines in both:
UK:
Often located in kitchen, especially in a city/smaller house or apartment
Many mid-size to large houses (usually not located in cities) will have a utility room housing washing machines
Dryers are not super common, so most people use a drying rack or washing line to hang clothes to dry. However, some washing machines are washer/dryers and some people do have a separate dryer
USA:
Most people have washers and dryers, and often in a separate laundry room
However, having lived in a city...
Some apartments in cities don’t have washers or dryers at all
In apartments in big citites, washers and dryers are often either in bathrooms, walk in wardrobes or in a little nook behind a door - not in their own room. Not enough space!
Dryers are very common
Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
In nz, a lot of houses have a wash house, which could be inside the house or outside, usually near the back door. I used to think it weird to see washing machines in kitchens, but its common in apartments here.
omg yay! am loving your content! my fav! such happy vibes!!!! xxx
Where I live washing machines are placed in one one of the bathrooms, some random laundry room at the roof floor (bigger houses) or a its own tiny room somewhere in the house, or the kitchen!
In Canada we usually have our washer/dryer in the bathroom or have a separate laundry room. I guess that's the luxury of having so much space in Canada? idk
It’s the same in Sweden.
Same in Germany
Same in australia. ☺
And in Poland! 🇵🇱
Same in Hungary 🤗🇭🇺
In Mexico we keep the laundry stuff, in a separate room in the backyard or the rooftop and we hang up our clothes instead of using the dryer.
Here in america we often keep washing machines in separate laundry rooms/closets or bathrooms.
Clothing smells with food smells? hmm
In America we usually often have a washer and dryer in the basement.
Haha. We don't tend to have basements in the UK... Old houses have cellars but they are usually dark and sometimes damp so not used for anything. Modern houses don't have a basement but some have a utility room where they keep the washing machine. Mainly they live in the kitchen though!!!!!!
It’s also very common here in Ireland to have your washing machine and dryer in the kitchen
American laundry situation:
-Most homes have a separate room for the washer and dryer its called the laundry room
-In apartments (flats) there can be a community laundromat or in the apartment (flat) there is a small closet to hide the washer and dryer one on top of the other in a hallway between a kitchen and bathroom usually.
I couldn’t imagine having that in a kitchen tho 😂
Grace I'm a trainee teacher & you buying all those snacks for teachers just made my heart melt!!!
I think you should try getting a puffer coat from Uniqlo! They have very nice and simple coats and look exactly how you described what you would want!
