haha I used to work in a bakery in Montreal, Canada, in a very touristy area. For me "normal" tea is Red Rose orange pekoe, and I horrified my fair share of British families before realising what they meant by "normal."

I've always loved your "company", hanging out, baking, eating, talking pajamas, whatever with you. Now I find out we have the same current fave brekkie. I love a homemade sourdough toast, trader joe's crunchy salted peanut butter, and some cherry jam. Yum! I'm going to try to convert my coffee habit to hot water. I love drinking hot water, but I always have coffee first.

Grace can you try out this vegan chocolate chip cookie recipe? 🙏🏼 it’s so good but you can’t substitute the sugar or anything haha, coconut sugar is the best part * 200ml extra virgin olive oil (a milder fruity variety) * 80ml cold water * 240g coconut sugar * 1½ tbs vanilla paste or extract * 340g plain flour * 2 tsp baking powder * ½ tsp sea salt * 200g good quality block dark chocolate, roughly chopped * Sea salt flakes for sprinkling 1. Whisk the olive oil, coconut sugar, water, and vanilla, in a large bowl. 2. Add the flour, baking powder, sea salt, and dark chocolate, and mix well to combine. 4. Place the dough into the fridge overnight to rest 5. Preheat your oven to 180°C/350°F (fan forced oven). 6. Scoop the mixture into balls and place onto paper-lined baking trays (don’t flatten them before baking). 7. Bake for 14 minutes. 8. Remove the cookies from the oven and immediately bang the baking tray on the kitchen bench/countertop to flatten them. 9. Cool and rest for 10 minutes before serving. 10. Store in an airtight container

Well as I told you before making homemade cherry jam is easy and wonderful! I am going to be using my last 1 3/4 cup bowl that I have frozen for Christmas! I am going to make some thumbprint cookies. Then I was going to make something else that I cannot remember LOL. It will come to me over the next six weeks!
I don't rly comment but this video came up at just the right time. I've had an incredibly depressing & awful week + this new lockdown makes me feel like I'm about to crumble but somehow watching you makes things feel alright again even if it's just for a while x
Peanut butter crunchy with banana on top is so yummy too! Cooked as in toasted sarnie or just a one piece folded over with plastic white bread and it tastes amazing all the time!! But I do like the PB andJ too but wish we had grape jam which is what they use in America.
Also a nice tart cheese spread on toast with cherry jam, OR toast with hard boiled yolk and peanut butter, plus a bit of crisp lettuce for lunch. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I’m American, and always wondered when you start your official “it’s christtttmas time” and let it all go! For us, it’s after Thanksgiving (for me realistically, it’s after Halloween #christmasobsessed). So where is the threshold? November 1st? December 1st? I’m soooo so so with you on the level of love for the most wonderful time of the year!
It depends on the person! I like to start in December - I don’t have any mulled wine or nice pies till the first. But the supermarkets come out with x-mas products in late October-early november!
