Regarding "how?!": The transforming cargo arms of the Hull series have been researched for essentially the entire development period thus far, both for how to animate it so that it would fit nicely into the hull and how to make the physics grids work that hold the cargo in place. If I recall correctly, in part it took this long because they knew they were going to be doing a major (if not ground up) rewrite of the physics engine and due to the complexity of the physics grid changes they decided to just do it all together. This all is because the cargo is actually being held in place using the physics system, the cargo it's not just visual, this way the weight of the containers can dynamically affect the ship and they can be independently damaged and removed/stolen. All ships that carry cargo use this system, and it's one of the major technologies CIG have developed to make the 'Verse as physicalized as possible.
thats so cool! and this is why it makes me so angry when people bash the game and complain that its taking to long or that its a scam when they really dont understand how much CIG has to create revolutionary systems from scratch to make this ambitious game come to life.
@@NoobahSteve Exactly. CIG is having to literally invent new technologies which other game engines simply do not have. People are too focused on graphics to understand this, they see Unreal 5 demos and worry SC won't look that good, ignoring the fact that you could not make SC in Unreal 5 without doing nearly the same amount of work that CIG has done on CryEngine. The fact it is a persistent universe MMO just makes every single "normal" game system so much more complicated, and then CIG wants more than 50 people, in their ships, to populate any given area at once, with a server tick rate of 30Hz, with everything more physicalized than any game single player or otherwise has ever done. Oh and there's a backend population and economy simulation of potentially millions of NPCs and THAT system needs to be able to understand and react to such a gathering of players, depending on what they do. But yea, the game is "taking too long". If we see another company make a SINGLE PLAYER game with the same tech as SC in the next ten years I'll be impressed, but I won't expect it. It will be much longer than that to see another company make a MMO with SC's level of tech. If there ever was a Ready Player One type of virtual universe, CIG is the closest to making the tech for it by light years.
Another note, BIGGEST DEAL in this update in my opinion. You have a keybinding now for A.T.C. to request docking/landing/take-off permission. It's in: OPTIONS --> KEYBINDINGS --> ADVANCED CONTROL CUSTOMIZATION --> FLIGHT MOVEMENT --> Request Landing (at the bottom of the expanded list). You can set it to any keyboard key, joystick button, etc. there.
Btw the whole "20 grand for an F8 lightning" is for a special black and gold F8. The F8 is more associated with Squadron 42, and if this is still true, will be a player reward in the PU for completing the single player game. It's not paywalled behind 20 grand though. You can steal one, and will eventually be able to buy or rent one with credits in game. And if they don't do the whole "reward for the campaign" thing, then it will likely have its own individual price tag at ~$100.
Mech's! Yes, please! Like a Robotech style veritech would be cool but only in aircraft mode and guardian mode. Regarding the Hull A: The idea of hauling in Hull was THE thing that drew me into SC. Love the series of ships and think the audio/sound effects for the Hull is spot on>

(i do actually, roughly 215 Carrack runs, or 141 C2 Hercules runs, in one single trip... brain short circuits*) the economic market of Star Citizen today as of 3.17 is absolutely not ready for that kind of hauling capacity, and these ships absolutely need the Cargo Refactor to be implemented in full to take advantage of their capabilities. (assuming the cargo refactor even touches on the economy system managed by the Quanta/Quantum system, and doesn't just physicalize cargo...)
Im a bit concerned that for instance Andromeda Connie has more cargo space than Hull A and even Hull B can accommodate according to specs i have seen on site. Only at Hull C and above the cargo space starts to seem worth the investment into this series if you are into hauling cargo. At least not for one system hauling. These were obviously meant for huge distances which we currently do not have considering that massive quantum fuel tank.
Imagine submersibles that can transform into ships, or vise versa. That would be so cool. Of course with that I think we would need a water planet with life in the water and stuff. Maybe oil mining or something. I think that would be awsome.
3:40 that with the robots would be cool. mabye some like from titanfall or James Cameron’s Avatar movie the RDA AMP suit walkers. they are really cool.
Every New Ship that will come out in the future will be Certified Gold Standard by CIG. Meaning that every Button inside the ship is Interactable and have Use, and Most of the Lighting Inside the ship can be controlled aswell. and they also reworking Old ship to have Gold standard, Like the Retalliator which is notorious for having Dumb design Decision. and Btw. WHEN ARE YOU VISITING ORISON ?!!!
Light profit of 20k you say. I hate to break it to you, but the cargo cost 110k not 100k so its an even lighter profit of 10k. thats about a 9.1% profit. Deduct the quantum/hydrogen fuel and time spent its more like chump change.
What's the biggest Hull series of ship that can still land on planets to pick up cargo? I guess I don't understand how those work. If the other hulls are too big to land, how could you even 'trade' with theM? Seems tradin gis just awful though..was that 20k profit based on a full hull a cargo hold?
Got a better bathroom than Constellation.. Which makes me sad - since they've completely nerfed the bathroom on the Constellation back when they altered it's design in the mid 2010s, and haven't made it functional yet :(
The short answer to your first question of the video is no. Don't think it will happen. That would massively change the feel of the game and how it works.
Slight Tip: now that we are in 3.17 you no longer have to go all the way to comms to call for takeoff and landing. In the options and controls menu you can now bind a key to call for ATC with just a single push. Just go to your advanced keybindings settings and go to the “vehicles movement” tab. you can bind ATC calling at the bottom of that tab. Also there is one way to fly an F8 Lightning other than being a dev. It is possible to steal one from an NPC but it is very hard. You must: A. Find an F8, B. The F8 must be outside of an armistice zone and C. You have to get the F8 AI to stop moving. Once all the criteria have been met all you need to do is go up to the cockpit and shoot the pilot once the NPC pilot is dead you can simply jump in the seat and fly off.
U can also select it to a double tab key so u select and pres Y making it a double tab key then double click the tab and select it to a key like N for example
Was coming down here to mention the hotkey. Lol I love that I don't have to fiddle with come. Except new babbich for some reason not giving me a landing pad so I have to steal one and try to recall the ship before getting a fine
FYI , you don't have to press F and a mouse click every time you want to open a door or something , you can just short press on F on the target when it's highlighted and it will perform the default task
I can't say for sure about full Mechs, but I know we're getting Armoured Exosuits at some point, look up the Titan Armour for some concept art. Supposedly able to carry a S1 ship weapon, which would be wild for ground PvP but I think they're meant to be too large to fit in a lot of doors so that's their main limitation at the moment
@@Galacticat42 I believe the concepted Infantry Module for the forward torpedo bay of the Tali is intended to hold 20 fully equipped soldiers and two Titans. I hope they also designed the Valkyrie with the Titan Suit's height in mind for the cargo bay even if it doesn't have a Titan recharging/rearming station.
Selling has nothing to do with wearing gear. Its because you have to wait for the server to accept another load of cargo. And that is why cargo trading is ass right now, because no stations sell enough, and no stations buy enough.
The road to Server Meshing is looking really promising. They already got EntityGraph in the live build with 3.17 which is an integral part of the planned Shard architecture.
That was a 10k profit. You bought it for 110+k and sold it for 120k, actually it’s lower than a profit of 10k, cause of refueling (Hydro/Quantum), and repair. So for the amount of time it takes to get on the train, and back and redo all the processes…. That’s a terrible route. ☹️ But that’s the awesomeness of this game, I play daily and am learning new things daily! Welcome to Star Citizen!
Closest thing we'll have to mech's is the power suit... kind of like a power armor suit that can mount a single size 0(like bikes) or size 1 weapon. It's called the "Titan Exosuit" Loving your streams! Keep having fun!
The largest ship is the Hull-E with a listed cargo capacity of an economy-breaking 98,304 SCU (subject to change) Fun fact: the Hull-E actually carries less cargo than a modern RL super-container ship.
Considering a 3 day rental should cost less than 30k UEC. You can make profit easily within 30 minutes of trading right out of the gate. Since its small amounts of cargo you could have loaded up on some Agricium.
@olli43 YES, mechs will be in the game. CR and friends have talked about them before when it comes to ground combat. they are probably going to be first seen in S42
Mechs have not been confirmed yet. The Titan Exo suit is the only thing which is confirmed but this isn’t mech size. It is small enough to board ships last we heard, think Ripley’s Loader in Aliens rather that Titanfall. That said though Sean Tracy who is one of the SC technical directors, was a lead dev on mechwarrior and has openly said he is trying to sell the idea of Mechs to Chris as he really wants them in game. They would sure help against air superiority. Fingers crossed.
I love this game, the people who play it and the verse! The community is amazing and has a real inclusive family atmosphere. Thank you so much for bringing more awareness about the game and moreover the potential it has!
to win time in microtech you can land on the commons landing pad instead the spaceport so you didnt lose so much time to take their Hyperloop. If you dont know where is the location you can easily find some videos on youtube. Its a 3 ou 4 circle formed building really flat in front of the Spaceport on the other river side of the frozen sea.
I suggest you join an ORG (Basically a guild). Many ORGs do events every few weeks like races, ship meets, and giveaways. I met the ONLY person who has a military F7 at a ship meet and I got to fly his ship. So consider joining up with a group of buddies, because expieriencing bugs is far more fun when you are with 2 other people to laugh with
Honestly if the devs put in a fraction of the effort they put into the ships and space travel mechanics, into the npc ai, shooting, missions/solo campaigns. SC would be a finished game by now. It's always so irritating to enjoy game but know that it could be sooo much better with just a few additions I mean seriously these guys have already milked over 400 million dollars from us, they can definitely afford to create a dedicated team of devs to work on the Npc Ai, shooting mechanics, etc
I would also love a transformer type ship and mecha. I would love something like a VF-1 Veritech transforming Macross type ship. There is a mech-like heavy armour planned with rocket boots I think. I think it's called Titan Armour.
You can steal a F8 One of the missions from Miles it's to destroy a F8, instead killing you can use distortion guns and shut it down. Use friends to keep shooting the distortion. You will EVA to it and kill pilot glitching gun into ship. Then just take ship. Looks like they did that
I wanna love this ship, but i dont really get the point. Freelancer carries more. Raft carries more. etc. And they have interiors, more firepower, can load vehicles, etc. The transform also makes no difference, in "real world usage". Because you must be deployed to LOAD cargo, and you must be deployed to UNLOAD cargo. Which means that even for the Hull E and stuff, the transform is completely pointless. You will NOT be able to load cargo on planets with Hull B-C-D-E, because you must be extended to load.. The only thing the transform allows you to do, is to land on planets while NOT being able to load cargo. Which, i guess, is fun for random box missions? If you wanna do that in a Hull E? Or for sightseeing, in a Hull E? Like they are AWESOME ships, but the fact they were all delayed for years because of the transform feature makes no sense, since the transform feature isnt relevant in real gameplay terms. Especially for the Hull A, which has zero point being "compressed", because it can still land with it extended... And IF we agree that the Hull A is only useful with it extended, then look at the middle, it has space for 3x the cargo boxes, in the middle empty space.. Which was made empty for the folding mechanism, which serves no purpose.. xD
I love the concept of the Hull series, but what blows me away is what they're capable of. The Hull A is pretty standard fare for what the game offers in terms of cargo capacity, but the Hull E is planned to be capable of moving over 98,000 SCU of cargo. For reference, the next highest ship on the list is the Hull D with 20,000, and then the Javelin with 5,000. This just boggles my mind. I can't even comprehend the scale of such ships.
I also like the diversity and option of everything, the Hull A is a small cargo ship, 64 SCU Cargo, but at the same time it can have 4 full size container attached to it, so you can easily take them from cargo stations later once we have container mechanics, ships like freelancer with 66SCU can only transport "cargo pallets" cargo. So every ship has their advantages and disadvantages, it will always fill the verse with all kind of ships with all kind opf npc and players, almost nothing feels "useless" compared to something else. bigger ships like Hull C to Hull E cant even land on gravity, they are literally the equivalent of a container ship irl, which will need different gameplay than for example caterpillar/hercules C2 which are more like fedex cargo planes, hull a is more like a truck carrying container, ships like freelancer are "Normal" trucks. just using the cargo as example for the diversity
There ARE another ships that can transform in this game, which are the Aopoa Khartu’ al and the banu defender. They are fighters used by alien species, and have really cool QT animations. You really should give them a try in the future!😀😀
Won’t lie. Your videos brought me back to the game. Fun fact…. Don’t get in the freelancer turret without a helmet on. Apparently, That section of the ship is not pressurized. 🤣 oops…
It's not about taking off your armor, but about using time. The demand of goods works on a ticker, so you just fool around until the demand gets back up. We now with 3.17 got the first implementation of the quantum AI which will make this much more dynamic, but I don't think medical supplies is one of the things that is affected yet
This game has been on my radar for a while. The fact that I could live out my fantasy as a space trucker sounds amazing to me. Like, I want to really get into this even more because of the hauler.
Re: your question. They are supposedly adding heavy armor at some point that's like an exoskeleton I believe. So somewhat mech like. My thought would be like Elementals from Battletech, or the power armor from Fallout 4. I would love to see mecha similar to Gundams in game, but I think those would be a bit out of universe.
I also wish there were more, quality of life components added to the game, like being able to sleep in ships with a bed, or being able to interact with the bars/activities that some ships have, and maybe the ability to like play the radio while in your spacecraft that would be awesome,
When more and more servers get meshed together the jobs that are simple now will get more and more dangerous as more players are squeezed into the same space which will be fun for some and not so fun for others 😂 I guess it will force more players to come together to protect each other which will be pretty cool
"gonna get pretty big" Ahem...... Hull A- 64SCU; Roughly Freelancer sized Hull B - 384SCU; Constellation sized Hull C - 4608 SCU; Longer then a Caterpillar when collapsed Hull D - 20,736 SCU; Roughly Idris Sized Hull E - 98,304 SCU; 2/3rd the Length of the Javelin, arguably as long once fully deployed. The cargo growth pattern is in multiple areas, which is why the leaps are so huge. The core cargo box size multiplies by 8 (doubles on each dimension) with each size up. On top of that, each spindle gets one layer deeper. The number of spindles also goes up with each ship. Half for the A, 1 for the B, 2 for the C, 3 for the D, and 4 for the E. To the people who "think" the Hull E is a viable idea..... you couldn't even afford to load it up, much less sell it all in a reasonable time frame.
mechs? nope. cool as it would be, never gunna happen. Its a challenge enough to be able to PLAY THE GAME (despite 8 yr of development) in its current state let along introduce mechs.
Somebody probably said this already but: Has nothing to do with your gear. It's supply and demand. You can only buy so much and sell so much in a given time frame from and to a place. This includes all the servers in one region. So if just one lobby buys all the medical supplies, all of e.g. EU has to wait for it to fill up again. Also, you can land at the surface entrance of New Babbage (middle dome). No need for a hangar if you're not staying for long.
The Hull series gets progressively larger all the way to the Hull E and it is absolutely MASSIVE. The next Hull to be released will be the Hull C. I'm not sure why they aren't being released in order. I currently have the Hull A, B, & C and plan to get all of them as soon as we have full and permanent persistence. The people that are saying that the Hull A isn't worth it for money are saying that because they already own ships with a bigger cargo hold. For people that are playing zero to hero, it makes great sense. Progression is a key for good gameplay. The entry cost for the ship is quite low compared to other ships with more cargo. Fun does not equal $/Hr. Some people think that the only thing you should do is generate income as fast as possible. I disagree. Take a look around and enjoy yourself. Also, the cargo running mechanic is quite simplistic at this time, but CIG has plans to make it more complex in the future. If you think about how deep and complex the mining mechanic is when you add refining, and gadgets and powerups etc. That is the expected depth of all the coming professions. These will not be mini games.

meta purchase locations : HMDS Lathan / HMDS Bezdek - Stanton > Hurston > Arial (Volume : 100,000 units per vendor)
alternate purchase locations : ArcCorp Mining Area 45 / 56 - Stanton > ArcCorp > Wala (Volume : 50,000 units per vendor)
Note that Laranite is an extremely valuable resource that experiences very high traffic, which requires patience to fill your hold due to supply constraints. be warned that because of its high value, you will be targeted by pirates if you loiter around in one location for too long, prompting the need for either an escort ship/fighter or the necessity to trade in small quantities & be highly mobile, the most practical ships to suit the role of light freight for this resource is the Misc Hull-A, Argo RAFT, Mercury Star Runner, and Misc Freelancer max
Hull A - 64 SCU - Investment : 176,192 / Sale : 198,464 / Margin : 12.64% / Profit : 22,272
RAFT - 96 SCU - Investment : 264,288 / Sale : 297,696 / Margin : 12.64% / Profit : 33,408
MSR - 114 SCU - Investment : 313,842 / Sale : 353,514 / Margin : 12.64% / Profit : 39,672
Max - 120 SCU - Investment : 330,360 / Sale : 372,120 / Margin : 12.64% / Profit : 41,760
*Agricium* - buy value : 23.64 / sell value : 27.50 / margin : 16.33%
meta purchase locations : ArcCorp Mining Area 141 > Stanton > Crusader > Daymar (Volume : 18,000 units per vendor)
alternate purchase locations : Shubin Mining Facility SMCa 8 Stanton > Microtech > Calliope : (Volume : 18,000 units per vendor)
Agricium is a resource that is not very popular due to its incredibly low supply. however because of its high profitability and moderately frequent refresh time, patient haulers can sit in a vendor location for a few minutes to fill their hold with very little worry of getting attacked by pirates due to the well known short supply of this resource. however it is still prudent to maintain a low EM/IR signature while in waiting. good luck captain.
Hull A - 64 SCU - Investment : 151,296 / Sale : 176,000 / Margin : 16.33% / Profit : 24,704

for Heavy to Superheavy Freight, you generally want Titanium & Gold, if not available you may Substitute with Diamond, Tungsten, or Fluorine
(as of 3.17 Astatine has fallen out of favor with high volume trade, profitability is marginal - trade at your own leisure)
*Titanium* - buy value : 7.86 / sell value : 8.89 / margin : 13.10%
meta purchase locations : Shubin Mining Facility SAL 2 / SAL 5 / Humboldt Mines - Stanton > ArcCorp > Lyria (Volume : 800,000 units per vendor)
secondary purchase locations : HMDS Lathan / HMDS Bezdek - Stanton > Hurston > Arial (Volume : 800,000 units per vendor)
tertiary purchase locations : Royari Cantwell Research Outpost - Stanton > Microtech > Clio (Volume : 800,000 units per vendor)
quaternary purchase locations : Tram & Myers Mining - Stanton > Crusader > Cellin (576,000 units per vendor)
Titanium is generally a low value resource with incredibly high supply volume & availability across multiple sectors of space, making it one of the most readily available resources on the market. consequentially its market value is volatile in peak trading hours. this resource is nearly worthless for Light Freight, but very profitable for high volume Medium to Heavy Freight, prompting the need to freight with large vessels like the Anvil Carrack, C2/M2 Hercules, Hull-B, or Drake Caterpillar. this resource sees a similar popularity as Laranite for pirate groups due to its very high volume but only pirate organizations will actually attack vessels carrying this kind of freight due to logistical constraints posed by smaller groups. as of 3.16/3.17 however this resource does not attract too much unwanted attention.
Hull-B - 384 SCU - Investment : 301,824 / Sale : 341,376 / Margin : 13.10% / Profit : 39,552
Carrack - 456 SCU - Investment : 358,416 / Sale : 405,384 / Margin : 13.10% / Profit : 46,968
M2 Herc - 522 SCU - Investment : 410,292 / Sale : 464,058 / Margin : 13.10% / Profit : 53,766
Caterpillar - 564 SCU - Investment : 443,304 / Sale : 501,396 / Margin : 13.10% / Profit : 58,092
C2 Herc - 696 SCU - Investment : 547,056 / Sale : 618,744 / Margin : 13.10% / Profit : 71,688
*Gold* - buy value : 5.66 / sell value : 6.41 / margin : 13.25%
HMDS Norgaard / HMDS Anderson - Stanton > Hurston > Aberdeen (Volume : 2,000,000 units per vendor)
Shubin Mining Facility SMO 18 - Stanton > Microtech (Volume : 2,000,000 units per vendor)
Gold is an old world resource that has gained notoriety as a valuable high volume resource for superconductor production, virtually worthless in low volume - it finds popularity in heavy freight as an alternative to titanium or as an interim option to fill vacant cargo space, due to its historical notoriety pirates will target vessels with this commodity regardless of actual profitability.
Hull-B - 384 SCU - Investment : 217,344 / Sale : 246,144 / Margin : 13.25% / Profit : 39,552
Carrack - 456 SCU - Investment : 258,096 / Sale : 292,296 / Margin : 13.25% / Profit : 34,200

i was planning on making a new weight class for the Hull C to E along with a chart for relevant commodities, but i realized it was pointless since the Hull C - E doesn't even have finalized specs yet, so a lot of what i say will ultimately just be speculation.. and also the fact that the current trading market is just not ready for ships like that, i mean the Hull C supposedly holds 4,096 SCU, with the Hull D holding a jaw-dropping 20,736 SCU, and the Hull E holding a mind blowing 98,304 SCU!! i cant even begin to imagine how much that really looks like that...
Since last patch you can assign a key to directly contact ATC to open the hangar or to request landing. Instead of having to change to a comms mfd.
Its under Flight - movement in the settings.
You can steal the F8 from the UEE (just like the HH and the Idris) by killing the pilot and jumping in the pilot's seat =)
You can contact ATC with a keybind now. You don't need to fiddle with MFDs anymore.
the hull series is a work of art
The ATC call is a assignable button at the bottom of flight movement under advanced keybindings
That Hull A reminds me of a Volvo truck.
Bacon, Cheddar cheese, lettuce, pickles and maple honey mustard served with garlic bread. Yummy space trucking sandwich
Space truckin is a great song by Deep Purple.
Light profit of 20k you say. I hate to break it to you, but the cargo cost 110k not 100k so its an even lighter profit of 10k. thats about a 9.1% profit. Deduct the quantum/hydrogen fuel and time spent its more like chump change.
Everything you do in game will result in chump change. This is how they encourage spending real money instead of grinding for in game currency.
We all started somewhere
star citizen reminds me a little of the sea of thieves with a different theme.
0:31 Word has it he's still on the train
I had no idea this ship was flight ready wtffffffff
Thanks!
What specs does your pc have. Im trying better figure it out for what I should upgrade to.
Thanks man. I totally forgot that this thing came with 3.17
U can also select it to a double tab key so u select and pres Y making it a double tab key then double click the tab and select it to a key like N for example
Was coming down here to mention the hotkey. Lol I love that I don't have to fiddle with come. Except new babbich for some reason not giving me a landing pad so I have to steal one and try to recall the ship before getting a fine
Thank you for the tip about the ATC in the game since I wasn't aware of it.
Not immersive enough😅
FYI , you don't have to press F and a mouse click every time you want to open a door or something , you can just short press on F on the target when it's highlighted and it will perform the default task
I can't say for sure about full Mechs, but I know we're getting Armoured Exosuits at some point, look up the Titan Armour for some concept art. Supposedly able to carry a S1 ship weapon, which would be wild for ground PvP but I think they're meant to be too large to fit in a lot of doors so that's their main limitation at the moment
Yup! Plus the Retaliator is supposed to get Titan Suit modules that will let you airdrop them.
Too big for man sized doors, but okay for hangars. Maybe Sean Tracy can twist CRs arm to get Mechwarrior style ones.
Changeformers™️
@@Galacticat42 oh hell yeah
Selling has nothing to do with wearing gear. Its because you have to wait for the server to accept another load of cargo. And that is why cargo trading is ass right now, because no stations sell enough, and no stations buy enough.
Ngl star citizen will in my eyes alr be the best game once Server meshing is in
The road to Server Meshing is looking really promising. They already got EntityGraph in the live build with 3.17 which is an integral part of the planned Shard architecture.
I love your star citizen videos. They truly make my day and inspired me to get this amazing game. Keep it up.
Welcome to the verse.
Not a mech, but there are plans for titan exosuits and dropping a few of those from a ship could be pretty cool 😏
The largest ship is the Hull-E with a listed cargo capacity of an economy-breaking 98,304 SCU (subject to change)
Fun fact: the Hull-E actually carries less cargo than a modern RL super-container ship.
Yeah those super container ships are like a wall of metal if you stand infront of them. Really impressive and game breaking.
Now you can bind a key to comms to take off I use Alt+N
Wearing or not wearing of armor has nothing to do with refresh rates at the various trade terminals. It’s solely based on time .
Keep the content coming Ollie, I enjoy it a lot!!
The door switches also have lighting controls btw. You can set the lighting to fit the mood :)
Love living vicariously through these videos until I can have a pic that can run this game.
The best bug from 3.17 is the lack of a landing marker, just gotta search around for an open bay
to win time in microtech you can land on the commons landing pad instead the spaceport so you didnt lose so much time to take their Hyperloop. If you dont know where is the location you can easily find some videos on youtube. Its a 3 ou 4 circle formed building really flat in front of the Spaceport on the other river side of the frozen sea.
if you like ships that fold out you should check out the khartu-al
that landing gear animation is insane
I suggest you join an ORG (Basically a guild). Many ORGs do events every few weeks like races, ship meets, and giveaways. I met the ONLY person who has a military F7 at a ship meet and I got to fly his ship. So consider joining up with a group of buddies, because expieriencing bugs is far more fun when you are with 2 other people to laugh with
Hello there

there is a new bind you can use for calling atc just so you know!
You make the best star citizen content, don't stop!
Glad you mentioned the F8 as I was thinking wtf! All through that vid 😂
Oh, and you can bind a key to "Call ATC", under Settings - Keybinds - Advanced - Ship movement - Call ATC (last option i think).
Local bounty hunting around Crusader is much better money if you're only making 10k per cargo run lol
I would also love a transformer type ship and mecha. I would love something like a VF-1 Veritech transforming Macross type ship. There is a mech-like heavy armour planned with rocket boots I think. I think it's called Titan Armour.
Sean Tracy was lead engineer on Mechwarrior. He wants mechs too so here’s hoping.
I bought the Starfarer to try out the refuelling aspect! If anyone is up for it let me know! :)
F8 lighting kit will not be in until post Q42, so that guy was either /A) a Dev, or /B) stole it off a NPC
Some says its paintjob is not from any npc faction, so very high probability it was a dev.
You can steal a F8
One of the missions from Miles it's to destroy a F8, instead killing you can use distortion guns and shut it down. Use friends to keep shooting the distortion.
You will EVA to it and kill pilot glitching gun into ship.
Then just take ship.
Looks like they did that
Lol Olli ship went BOOM in the last video thats what was funny
Nearly as funny as him killing you after you helping him
Mechs in this game Would be game changing and AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Which was made empty for the folding mechanism, which serves no purpose.. xD
Claims to know so much, doesn't know time to load/unload is the variable that the Hull series addresses
You should of went into 1st person view when you dipped the ship on the water.
There ARE another ships that can transform in this game, which are the Aopoa Khartu’ al and the banu defender. They are fighters used by alien species, and have really cool QT animations. You really should give them a try in the future!😀😀
Reliant series too.
Even better if the shipts were GoTron Ferrets that transform into GogoTron
I hope we could get titanfall style mechs and customize their equipment to be combat/mining/carrying ability
Subscribed, really like your style.
Won’t lie. Your videos brought me back to the game. Fun fact…. Don’t get in the freelancer turret without a helmet on. Apparently, That section of the ship is not pressurized. 🤣 oops…
Same goes for the table area on the c2.
I’m a space trucker myself. Bought the Hull C and can’t wait for that thing to come out

The mighty Connie takes a break to take a sip of water!
Every time he lands in bad weather, we’re gonna have to watch that clip, but it’s still funny
Game is currently downloading...
You can take the waste to various outpost farms.
It's not about taking off your armor, but about using time. The demand of goods works on a ticker, so you just fool around until the demand gets back up. We now with 3.17 got the first implementation of the quantum AI which will make this much more dynamic, but I don't think medical supplies is one of the things that is affected yet
Not yet no, they are testing it with basic minable resources at the moment before plugging in more resources and items.
As an experiment, retract the cargo arms while they are loaded up with all that waste to see what happens :) btw, look up star citizen titan suit

@@Wind_Lord that’s not what the bank manager says 😂
This game has been on my radar for a while. The fact that I could live out my fantasy as a space trucker sounds amazing to me. Like, I want to really get into this even more because of the hauler.
Re: your question. They are supposedly adding heavy armor at some point that's like an exoskeleton I believe. So somewhat mech like. My thought would be like Elementals from Battletech, or the power armor from Fallout 4. I would love to see mecha similar to Gundams in game, but I think those would be a bit out of universe.
I believe that the Hull B will be smaller than the Hercules Starlifter but have more cargo storage
As far as mech suits go there are the Titan suits in SC that we will be getting. Think the power loader suit from the Aliens movie.
Unless Sean Tracy gets his own way…
I'd never seen that bug that needs you to strip your clothes to sell cargo😂 Thanks for sharing the workaround!
Sure it wasn’t just the server ticking over to refresh demand? Many locations have limits per min on goods.
I also wish there were more, quality of life components added to the game, like being able to sleep in ships with a bed, or being able to interact with the bars/activities that some ships have, and maybe the ability to like play the radio while in your spacecraft that would be awesome,
When more and more servers get meshed together the jobs that are simple now will get more and more dangerous as more players are squeezed into the same space which will be fun for some and not so fun for others 😂
I guess it will force more players to come together to protect each other which will be pretty cool
The addition of the Quantum NPC's will also greatly increase the density of activity.
Yep, folks will need to come to terms with the fact this game demands players to team up for the best results, which is awesome 👌
I personally can’t wait to be hired for escort services.
"gonna get pretty big"
Ahem......
Hull A- 64SCU; Roughly Freelancer sized
Hull B - 384SCU; Constellation sized
Hull C - 4608 SCU; Longer then a Caterpillar when collapsed
Hull D - 20,736 SCU; Roughly Idris Sized
Hull E - 98,304 SCU; 2/3rd the Length of the Javelin, arguably as long once fully deployed.
NOOOO DONT BUY ALL THE SHIPS OR YOU’LL GET THAT F8 LIGHTING YOURSELF (the rare fighter which might have been a dev).
That wasn't a dev. That was a normal player with the F8C. You can get it by spending 25k in the store or by having enough invites
40MINUTES of space trucking for 20grand..... Fuck that shit.....
mechs? nope. cool as it would be, never gunna happen. Its a challenge enough to be able to PLAY THE GAME (despite 8 yr of development) in its current state let along introduce mechs.
Somebody probably said this already but:
Has nothing to do with your gear.
Oli: "Mechs" My mind: *Explosion* Oli: "Hull A spine extend button" my mind: "HOLY ****". xD
$10000 for the F8L, $15000 for another one with a black & gold skin. :) and it would of been a developer as it's not available to players yet.
Right when you said right if ya don't mind I'd like some privacy. An add played on RUclips. Worked out pretty well. Heh heh.
