This video will show you how to install Boost Auto Parts tow mirror marker lights into your OEM tow mirrors. These are drop in replacement single color (Amber) or switchback (White/Amber) marker lights for the 2019-2024 OEM GM tow mirrors fitting Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra. We offer a range of lights, for operation please see below. They are offered with a smoked or clear lens and are plug and play in your OEM tow mirrors. Optional running light and sequential turn signal.
These lights are offered in the following functions:
Signal Only: The lights will not illuminate with running light. The lights will flash AMBER with turn signal.
Signal Only Sequential: The lights will not illuminate with running light. The lights will flash AMBER with turn signal in a sequential pattern.
Signal & Running Light: The lights will illuminate AMBER with running light. The lights will flash AMBER with turn signal.
Signal & Running Light Sequential: The lights will illuminate AMBER with running light. The lights will flash AMBER with turn signal in a sequential pattern.
Switchback: The lights will illuminate WHITE with running light. The lights will flash AMBER with turn signal.
Switchback Sequential: The lights will illuminate WHITE with running light. The lights will flash AMBER with turn signal in a sequential pattern.
These replace the factory lights which are part numbers 84468924, 84468925, 84468926, 84468927.

Instructions were fantastic, took 20min on the first one and maybe 10 on the second. I will say my 2024 silverado 2500 ltz had some slightly different looking parts, my mirror motor is completely different looking, and mounts on a different system, but at the same time extremely similar operations and was still able to breeze by that. All and all a great video! Going to do the cab lights next!

Hopefully you guys can make something similar for the 2019-2021 1500 light that are on the outside of the mirrors I would totally buy for my truck
Are you talking about the small light that is on the small (non-towing mirrors) that only operates as spot light?
@@boostautoparts is there anyway to make it turn amber when the turn signal it set in pretty sure you guys can make one work as a spot light and a turn signal
@@angelgaytan2332 I will relay the interest to the development team. At this time we only have the towing mirror lights, not the small standard mirrors.

Do the sequential turn signals require any other harness or are they plug in play as show in the video?
They are plug and play for any vehicle originally equipped with towing mirrors.
What if my tow mirrors are motorized telescoping. There’s no way for me to extend halfway that I kno of.
Yes, those can still be extended halfway manually.
@@boostautoparts thank you! Figured it out yesterday. What I ended up doing is holding it for a brief moment during the extension process n the motor eventually stopped lol. 🤙🏽

I looked into these tow mirrors. Unfortunately they don't have the cameras, so if the truck came with mirrors on the mirrors, they will no longer work.
This install video is for the light itself. We do offer camera mirrors, but only for select vehicles at this time
Running light doesn’t work but turn signal does used to work tho just stopped any idea why?
That's certainly not typical. Give our support team a call at 765-831-2830 so we can assist in getting this resolved ASAP (free of charge under warranty if it's an issue with our product)
I am having the same issue. Running light comes on when I turn my lights on but turns off when I turn the lights off. Turn signal works though.
I own a 2020 Gmc Denali 2500HD and my tow mirrors have all but any indication of turn signal. What would I do if I chose Switchback Sequential?
The front light on the towing mirrors has a turn signal built into it. When the running light is on and the signal is activated the turn signal will get slightly brighter. Our switchback sequential lights would be plug and play in your application.
Will it work without resistor ?
Yes - no resistor needed.
i broke clips on mirror and i cant put it back
broke the mirror and i couldn’t place the motor back to the plastic

Does it come with the LEDs for the spot lights?
These are offered with optional LED spot lights - there's an option for with or without spot lights on the product page.
@@boostautoparts what is the spot light your talking about? Idk if my truck has that feature or if im just clueless to what your talking about. Hopefully you can help because idk if I should order it with or without the spot light??? Also with the turn signal on the mirror upgrade im assuming the wiring is already in the truck for it it just needs the actual mirror replacement im assuming? I have a 2022 Chevy 2500 Work truck model so it doesn’t have that, will I have to get any additional wiring for it or does it come with everything I need to make it work??
@@bicklebopjr298 Spot lights are a forward facing light that can be commanded on. If you send your VIN or pictures of your mirrors to sales@boostautoparts.com our team can assist.
With regards to the turn signal on glass, it comes with a harness and gets power from the front light assuming your truck tow mirror has a front turn signal.
