Cane, a tip on recruiting: Once you know all 3 of a player's Interest in Motivation for recruiting, you should change your current Action from Send the House to Hard Sell, selecting the 3 Motivations that match the 3 Interests of the player. This will give you 10 more points to play with for scheduling visits, or gathering more information about a player's Interests elsewhere on your board.
According to the patch notes, the new update makes losing games have a larger effect than it did on your earlier patch. Hopefully, once they get a working patch out, they can keep that in. It's kind of wild to get all these commits after a brutal rivalry loss 😂
The ai is programmed to run it if inputted in the gameplan, BUT... it needs plays in the plan to compliment it.. any play can wotk, but some need to be setup more than others..
Wow that bulls on parade at 405 took me back to a kid riding with my dad blasting rage against the machine I had to pause the video and go listen to it haven’t been on a nostalgia trip like that in forever
Cane, you gotta start hard selling as soon as you can. The longer you leave send the house on the less influence you gain. Even if you don’t know all 3 of the interests just use you’re best ones and you’ll gain maximum influence on the recruits
Should I hard sell if I don’t have good grades on their desired pitches and have it on one good grade with it? Or would it be better to keep it on send the house in that situation? (For reference I am on year 1 of a new dynasty and only have 1 good grade)
@@CJSlemeif the players motivations are low grades for me, I’ll completely ignore them and just sell them on the highest I have. Idk how to explain it but when you hover over hard sell, it shows you the max influence you can gain with the green arrows (4 or 5 depending on coaching skills) once you apply a hard/soft sell you can check to see if it is effective by hovering over it again to see if you achieved max influence. Idk if that makes any sense but it’s the best I can think of describing it
I’m honestly enjoying this series so far Cane! I’ve been meaning to share, but I keep forgetting. I recently graduated from Miami with my Masters Degree, so I think it’s cool that you’re doing the Canes as one of your Dynasties. I just think in the recruiting aspect of things, go all out for the best players (more 5 stars). Miami has the recourses to get any player in the game that they want. Salvage the season, qualify for a bowl game or the CFP with an at large bid, and reload in the offseason with the portal and next years recruiting class. That’s my feedback, but as a Canes fan it’s awesome you’re doing this series! Season two stings so far tho 😅
Honestly, I love seeing you struggle Cane, in a good way! Its seems that CFB is miles ahead of madden, sure there are some issues that need fixed, but truly between the bulls and Miami, I am loving both series. Madden is trash, bored after playing it for a while. Kepp up the great work!
I think I've learned more from recruiting in Cane's comments than anywhere else on RUclips, X, Reddit etc. Y'all are amazing LOL. Also, Cane out of pocket for the Iowa comment HAHAHA
Cane on a side quest to reduce all college programs to zero stars 😂 I think you start the freshmen for the rest of the year, if development works the same.
I don't know if the new patch fixes it or not, but I still recommend adjusting the pass coverage and Int sliders for cpu vs cpu slow sim if you stay on the default patch. Lowering Int and bumping Pass Coverage fixes the absurdly high int rate in watched sim games. They certainly still happen and I don't know if it would help these Miami QBs of yours, but it'll lead to more contested catches and ints being a result of deflections/tip drills and skilled play instead of the head scratching dumb throws straight to a defender every time. Heck, sometimes the DBs will even drop an easy int from time to time because that's a thing that DBs in real life.
Hey Cane, I know this is just a suggestion for your buffalo bulls dynasty. Would you ever consider when you do your offseason livestream, you would do a fast paced recap of the important signings and decisions you made in the beg. of the first game of the season and new recruiting class. I know it would be a lengthier video but I think its something to consider as well. I know youve been trying to change the format of your videos. Keep up the great football content, been watching since the jags rebuild and our boy Bell took over the defense.
I’ve noticed the accuracy and amount of interceptions has way more to do with awareness than years past. It also weights with the “throw accuracy” rating as more important than short deep and mid. Keep that in mind when getting a new QB
I say this with the utmost respect cuz I love your content. You asked how this team is this bad. I think you're seeing the true hurricanes this year. I think you just far exceeded expectations last year because from everything I'm seeing the hurricanes are not going to be anywhere near as good as you had them let this year. So I think somehow you and the you know CPU play out just had them far and above where they belonged being. So I think they've just come back down to earth
Cane dont know if you're aware but you are able to go over 50 weekly hours on certain positions depending on your coach abilities and coordinators abilities. The number of hours available for each recruit is on the upper right-hand side above your grades.
I agree with Poffenbarger to start over the pick master, but Battle the true athlete. There was something there for tight end, receiver, or possible end safety
I'm sure they're not but it seems like the recruits are pity committing lol Early shake-ups show the team's metal and the metal is quite soft. Do your thing Cane, make Miami great again!
One thing I’ve noticed with the fumbles in this game is that you should challenge around 70% of them. For whatever reason the game is allowing a ton of fumbles where the guy is down go unreviewed. I challenge at least a fumble a game now and its incredible how many are wrong in the CPUs favor lol
This team is like the 2023 Toronto Blue Jays, good defense, but no offense anywhere. Still can't believe they scored one run in that whole Twins playoff series
I think you need to go to singleback/SEC 2000’s era pro style offense. Power running, controlling the clock, mostly short or deep passes. We don’t have the same talent so we have to level the playing field even more
As a Miami fan I can confirm the dynamic attendance is very unrealistic. Even if we were 4-0 the crowd would only be 85-90% full in games that aren’t huge
I almost think that it would be better to play the rest of the season with Miami's regular playbook and start fresh with the new playbook for next season
shame about the update because it adds so many good things. The playoffs are so much better and the defense is also much improved and the visit bug is now dead. You can schedule visits when they become available and not have them locked out.
For me the patch made it worse. Made a new dynasty and kstate won 3 titles in a row their overall was 83 😂😂 didn't play the 4th year as immersion dies quickly with this honestly bad game
Playbooks are the only things that really matter in sim sadly. Its just like madden where the dallas or KC playbook teams always finish with like 13 wins. I get the appeal for building a playbook to best suite your team, but the CPU logic just doesn’t understand it. My prediction is the more you mess with the playbook, the worse the team will play, regardless of the talent on the roster
The reason is the play count will be higher then the sim stats, meaning your players will have better stats then the rest in the country my default playing more snaps
@@Swisscheesebrain Sim stats fluctuate from 100-120 total plays if you just look at the rush and pass attempts in the box score. You can't fix heavy hurry up teams messing with the slow super sim CPU vs CPU stats but you can get as close as possible when everything lines up normally. I'm running 10 min/25 Acc Clock when I do my CPU vs CPU dynasties while slow super simming the whole game and while there are random games with under 100 total plays, it all balances out in the end due to inflated games with heavy up tempo and teams starting to chuck it.
"I cant believe I turned Miami into Iowa in one year" is one of the funniest statements in this channels history
For recruiting you need to go with hard sell as soon as you can instead of only sending the house.
I've never been able to describe what it's like being an Arkansas fan
But this, this is it.
You beat Texas, A&M, and LSU, win a bowl game, then can’t get a winning season the next 2 years. Bobby P might have something to say though
Same here coming from a south carolina fan

Kunalic was like wow I’ll be able to start week 1 as a true freshmen, I’m in
Honestly saw this coming after last season. So many miracle one score wins, so many wins with less than 200 passing yards with a high 80s OVR QB.

It also isn't supposed to break more things.
If im damien martinez, im sitting out the rest of the year to preserve my self for the nfl
Amazing story line

Sending the house is less impactful than doing both hard sell + soft sell, that’s why you lost the receiver
Are you 100 percent sure you aren't playing QB? It sure looks like it with all the interception.

Didn't have "Cane references Rage Against the Machine" on my Cane bingo card

The team can still win a lot of games. I think the best route might just to finish out with Vattiato since none of the back ups are any better
This is just like watching Miami, Miami of Ohio.
Miami of Ohios offense us better
You need to check those sliders. The opposing CPU plays like they have ESP and your team plays like they don’t know the plays. It’s glaring.
