2022 was my 1st year really into BBW. I learned a lot about what I like and I think I will be much more selective this year. Combined with the new return policy and increased prices, I think I will be shopping my stash much more.
I did a big declutter & organization in November. My oldest products are now at the front of the line to use up first. As you said, I don't want it to go bad-I want to enjoy it. 👍
I have ao many products i bought that i have not used yet. My plan for 2023.. 1. use all my 2021 products (i have 10 creams and maybe 20 lotions). 2. Go on a low buy/no need to buy every new product/scent. Tfs
Great project! I usually shoot for one body cream/lotion and one full sized mist a month. I love the idea of planning out the mists for the entire year! I have so much that I get overwhelmed when picking the next scent to use so this might be really helpful for me 😁🧡
This totally resonates with me. I’ve been doing a project use it up since the fall. I think their offerings were a bit lackluster especially if you are a collector. I’ve been enjoying blending my candles. The one resolution that has stuck with me and family is even noticing is a morning fitness routine. I call it the lazy workout. I light a candle and I sit on my exercise bike that has a nice back to it and watch RUclips with my morning coffee . That then leads me to lift weights a couple days a week. Like the atomic habits book the “just start “ has really helped and also I think about what I consume more because of the habit I formed.
Hey girl! I have seasonal boxes for my scents. I’m not buying anymore lotions or body creams until I use up what I have. I will find combos that work lol. I’ve had to toss some that were separated and I don’t want the others to end up that way. I’m going to try and concentrate on what I have this year for the most part. I placed a small order yesterday but it’s going to be a while before I do again. Price increases are pretty hard with a small budget so I’m going to mainly focus on SAS from here on out….
I am currently an associate at BBW and now I see my collection growing!!! I love your videos but especially your use it up videos. You are so details and I lovee seeing your categories..I take alot of those suggestions and its been helping get through my products although it takes me forever to use my body creams
Hey there, first time viewer here. I loves your video and definitely you got me inspired to start my own use it up year instead of just for the month. I do go thru 4-5 body are items a month with the exception of the body mist. I’m ok with not using all my mist, but definitely want to go thru my creams and lotions

Highly motivational & inspirational video, lady! Thx for sharing. I’ve def been feeling overwhelmed w my stash, therefore, I actually didn’t even go nuts this past SAS, even this past year, really. (Still got candles)! But I slowed BC waaaay down this past full year. Yet? Ask me how I have like 30 FFM’s w BC’s to match. I’m not even a back up hoarder either (besides only one back up of that bake shop collection) from two years ago. That being said, the BC’s from that collection are starting to go bad! I do not want my stuff to go fully bad. No way. I use my goods daily, girl. So I don’t get it? I think…It’s hard for me to go thru stuff quickly, cuz I change my scents daily, not just seasonally, and I change em depending on my mood, the sun or rain or snow in a day, and the time of day. I need a plan, like you. Thank you for this!
Oh teesha! I'm joining you for the mist a month challenge! I'm going to do it slightly differently, and I'll pick the scent in the last day or 2 of the current month as the next month approaches-- you know, satisfy my impulsive self a little 😅😂

Your system seems very efficient and effective. I think I'll try it out myself; focusing on two or three scents at a time. I often get rid off product that isn't getting used like I hoped. Anything that has been gently used (if used at all), I pass along to friends, coworkers. One coworker has two teen girls so I give most of my overflow to them. I try ALOT of new scents during SAS, since it's so cheap, and only the absolute faves will remain in my collection. Now, in 2023 I will be more selective in my scent choosing, especially with these price increases. (Ps: good to know I wasn't the only one who felt this way about Enchanted Candy Potion. Cough syrup that dries down to nothing. I returned mine the same day it arrived in the mail.)
I made a spreadsheet with categories for butters, lotions, gels, mists, candles, room sprays, and wallflowers. My goal is to get through as many as possible before acquiring more. I have 4 rewards to redeem and that’s all I am getting until December 2023 SAS. Have to be more intentional this year. Thanks for the inspiration! We can do it!
It would be cool if B&BW had a line of basic scents (vanilla, berry, sugar, sandalwood, etc) that came in lotion/body cream form so that I wouldn't feel the need to buy sets. Like so many of my items have vanilla in the scent notes, so a plain vanilla lotion would match perfect and I could save some room. Kind of how VS does flankers of their main scents, I just buy the regular lotions to match with the flanker sprays so that I don't have a bunch of the same thing. Also I try to remind myself that Mercari exists. If I am unable to buy a back up of a favorite scent then I'm more likely to not use it because I want to save it. Instead I try to remember that I can use up what I have and if I really miss it when it's gone, I could buy some from Mercer if B&BW doesn't bring it back out.
I wouldn’t say I’m on a no buy but I def want to be a on a low buy. Between having a lot and price increases, I wanna take a step back. Really continue working on finishing the last 9 body creams and 10 lotions I have since I don’t really use them as much. This years goal is to target my mists since they take me the longest to use. Also I find it interesting cuz I use moisturizing body wash faster than a regular shower gel.
I love this, thanks for sharing your method! The $4.25 body mist sale got me hooked and then it was candle day, and now SAS- it piles up fast! I made a spreadsheet for my candles to keep track of what I like and what I don't so I don't rebuy and I'm working on my organization this weekend. I'm done for at least a few months.

I love this! I have so many products that I'm doing my Use It Up kind of quarterly. I have a scent for sleep, nights out, and 2 for day time for each month. Half will be brand new and the other half products with dents just to help me flush out more stuff and get use out of everything. I'll still be using whatever I want, but this system works for me to have designated products for certain activities.
This is a great project! I have a lot of products in my project, I'm hoping that I can up my use just a little to use up some older products :) Mists are the hardest for me to finish! I've barely made a dent in any of mine.
It’s been overwhelming. I do go through the shower gels the quickest but body creams and lotions take me the longest to use. I’m thinking about limiting my body cream/lotion purchases so I don’t waste money not being able to use them up before they go bad. Mists do take me a while to use because I will wear a different scent everyday. So maybe I should do your mist challenge.
I'm in the UK and we don't have BBW but I do love body care so much and have over 200 body washes, goodness knows how many body creams and lotions and sprays, so this is definitely something I need to do xxx
So, is the scent in the Happy Easter bottle Tutti Fruiti? I really wanted to get that one last year but as soon as they went on sale, they were gone in my store. 😞 I hope it comes back again this year in body care.
I’ve gone through a little bit of my collection but not all of it. I put it all in one location and I want to sort it out like I see the RUclipsrs do. Like, put all of my FFM on my bed and get a real Inventory count. But, when I store it, I want to store it in sets. And yes, I need to get a use it up project going. I did organize my candle collection and I’m reaaallllyyyy going to try & not buy 3-wicks this year. I have 192. 😲 How did that happen? I think the last two candle day’s really increased my collection. Two of them are going to my daughters home this weekend. So, that brings it down to 190. I just exchanged 8 of my candle Day candle’s (2022) for new spring candles and I’m sooooo happy about that. They didn’t up charge me & let me even exchange. I had my receipt. So, they only thing I may want to buy are the Easter Candles because they look so cute! I have only one Sweet Carrot Cake from last year. Then, that’s it! When summer comes...I have summer candles. When Halloween comes...I have Halloween candles. When fall, winter, and Christmas comes....you get the idea. 😄
I have realized if I have a group of products to use, I forget to use them. It's weird I know. I am Also doing 1 scent a month for the year and January is hello Beautiful
Twisted Peppermint is a good one to kick off the mist challenge. I think I may follow your lead. I already use Dr. Bronner's Castile peppermint body wash daily as my base clean. It's calming, not energizing for me. I'm focusing on using up the last of my Ultra Shea body creams before summer. Speaking of mindsets, no-buys and rigid shrink-my-stash never work for me!

Decluttering and using it up is freeing. You can do it, just be realistic, have fun and give yourself grace.
Fun fact: Shower gels and Moisturizing body washes are the exact same size. Both have 10 ounces!

Last fall I used Bonfire Bash, Sweet Whiskey, and Open Sky Fine Fragrance Mists together and it was heavenly!

I dont buy the body creams , lotions, or butters. Just the mist, perfumes, and sometimes candles.

Mists are so hard for me to use. I can go through a lotion or body cream and shower gel within 2 weeks. But mists take me like 2 months or more 😫
Same i have about 15 mists the past 10 months and none of them look used except sea island shore which only has a dent
Funny how this is different for everyone. I plow through mists and body washes, while I struggle to use up a lotion/cream.
