Rewatching this is so nostalgic. I watched Zack's ACNL playthrough religiously as a 10 year old, and now as a 20 year old it still brings me so much joy!
Same here, I began less than a month after the game came out when I was 10. Being home from college during thanksgiving led me to take out the 3ds and play on the same town from all those years ago. The memories came back which led me to checkin out this series again for the hell of it. Cool to hear from someone else in a similar situation as myself! I don’t even play video games anymore lmao

This game was a massive part of my childhood, bringing me so many memories that till this day I hold true to my heart. Back then my little mind could not believe that I was the mayer of a town and with new things coming in like clubs and islands... I could not put the game down. Watching this overwhelms me with joy so much that I honestly might start tearing up.

When I was a sophomore in high school I was lost. I had moved away from all my friends, had my heart broken, lived in a toxic household, and didn’t even have a proper bed other than the mattress on my floor and a first gen iPad my aunt bought me for getting good grades in the 6th grade. THIS series kept me going. Helped me escape and live through the depression and suicidal thoughts. It gave me something to look forward to and escape into. I’m now in my 3rd year of college, I have a well-paying job, I’ve been with the love of my life for over 3 years now, I’ve started my own life on my terms, and I’m happier than I’ve ever been :) Thank you. I’m not quite sure I’d be where I am now if this series didn’t help me get through some tough times. Hope this wasn’t too cheesy :) Also I just pre-ordered the Animal Crossing Switch and plan on getting Animal Crossing New Horizons - it will be my first animal crossing and I’m soooo excited!

Wow. I am revisiting this as a 15 year old and as a New Leaf veteran. This video made me build my town from the ground up and helped inspire me to play other games besides COD. lol. I restarted the town I made in Christmas 2013. It was worth it. My town is awesome. Nibbles is in my town. I get to see her again after all these years since my town in Wild World. ;3

I remember watching videos of this game and waiting to get it myself. I was so excited when I got this game and I had so many memories of it. I was 8. Ahh memories. (I even got Eugene in my town after Zack kicked him out in a future episode)
This is such a nice, refreshing start to an Animal crossing game, let alone New Leaf! Hahaha it's awesome starting from early in the morning when the game just came out. Like an early rise to the 1st day. I WISH I could've played when it first came out too but I'm still having so much fun with it now. This walkthrough already feels fun, relaxing and pretty casual too! It's cool watching someone who's learning the game for the first time too and hasn't experienced Animal Crossing in a long time. I've already watched Part 5 while typing this honestly LOL but still wanted to express appreciation and enjoyment of this series!! Happy to keep following along and learning something new perhaps too!

As someone who was born & raised in Oregon, I can assure you that Astoria is a real place & I've been near the Goonie's house but I think it's blocked off to visitors so I've never actually been to it but I've been through Astoria many times in my life. I remember one time my family had to travel through Astoria to get to a funeral, I saw a bald eagle soaring when crossing the bridge. It's absolutely beautiful there. Given this was uploaded nearly 7 years later, I don't know if you ever visited between then & now but you definitely should at least once in your life, beautiful place & whenever you refer to your town as Astoria, I keep thinking that you mean the actual Astoria even though I know that's not what you mean. As an Oregonian, it's a tad distracting but still awesome, love it when people acknowledge cities in our weird state.

I restarted the town I made in Christmas 2013. It was worth it. My town is awesome. Nibbles is in my town. I get to see her again after all these years since my town in Wild World. ;3

I need to buy this again. My 3DS has been sitting for a couple years in my cupboard and i have lost my charger as i tried to look for it yesterday. I used to have animal crossing new leaf and let me tell you. I was born to play it. I love it sooo much with all my heart and oh my god im such a gamer😂 but i am going to order this game again and a charger i have to.
I remember watching videos of this game and waiting to get it myself. I was so excited when I got this game and I had so many memories of it. I was 8. Ahh memories. (I even got Eugene in my town after Zack kicked him out in a future episode)
This is such a nice, refreshing start to an Animal crossing game, let alone New Leaf! Hahaha it's awesome starting from early in the morning when the game just came out. Like an early rise to the 1st day. I WISH I could've played when it first came out too but I'm still having so much fun with it now. This walkthrough already feels fun, relaxing and pretty casual too! It's cool watching someone who's learning the game for the first time too and hasn't experienced Animal Crossing in a long time. I've already watched Part 5 while typing this honestly LOL but still wanted to express appreciation and enjoyment of this series!! Happy to keep following along and learning something new perhaps too!

As someone who was born & raised in Oregon, I can assure you that Astoria is a real place & I've been near the Goonie's house but I think it's blocked off to visitors so I've never actually been to it but I've been through Astoria many times in my life. I remember one time my family had to travel through Astoria to get to a funeral, I saw a bald eagle soaring when crossing the bridge. It's absolutely beautiful there. Given this was uploaded nearly 7 years later, I don't know if you ever visited between then & now but you definitely should at least once in your life, beautiful place & whenever you refer to your town as Astoria, I keep thinking that you mean the actual Astoria even though I know that's not what you mean. As an Oregonian, it's a tad distracting but still awesome, love it when people acknowledge cities in our weird state.
