Unfortunately it’s all about buffs. Uncomfortable, happy, energetic etc. social interactions and gameplay are needed since it’s a trait
I really think an eco living game pack would go so nicely with this and Seasons, something with things like solar paneling and collecting rain water!

Main reason I was so upset when Laundry won the last community vote is because it knocked solar panels out of the running. I really want solar panels soooo much and I never put laundry in my builds.
YES HOW DO THEY NOT HAVE SOLAR PANELS YET?? it can't be that difficult compared to other stuff they've added. obviously I'm not a game developer but the sims have done some complicated stuff, and i don't think solar panels would be that hard for them to do.
I voted for that pack during laundry day.

Well they don't want to involve murder in a game as they said many times. You can only die by accident or age. I'm honestly fine with that. If you wanna be a violent murderer you can play GTA or something. 😁

Yo mermaids don’t kill the ones with sharp teeth who kill are sirens-
One of the actions is that a mermaid can drown a sim if they really wanted to but it takes a few tries. I can't remember what the action is called but it's one of the siren ones I think
I really wish mermaids, vampires, and witches could kill other sims.

Definitely! I mean, you're building a tiny house, you'd think a ladder would help save space rather than having to find a way to fit in a whole staircase! 🤔 I know you can use that stair configuration i guess, but it's still so chunky looking compared to a nice simple ladder
During the Livestream, they explained why they didn't go with ladders and bunk beds. It was actually one of the most informative livestreams I've seen thus far from the Sims Team. They put so much thought in to the theme of this pack and the Murphy Beds were able to add game play and challenge that ladders and bunk beds couldn't. Worth a watch if you have a couple hours to kill!
@@TitanicFan2112 it's understandable with the whole difficulty in animation, especially for a stuff pack, but it would be cool if hopefully it could be done maybe in a game pack or expansion or something as an extra function maybe! Depends I guess on the actual foundation of the Sims 4, I know in past games they've had it but I'm not sure of it would be possible in this game 🤔 still a shame but i am excited for this pack, it has a lot of depth for a little stuff pack with the whole building challenge and tiers!
Samantha Poe you can add challenges with anything. You could fall climbing the ladder. You could fall out of a bunk bed. Just anything if you use ur imagination ✨✨

I want to get the pack just for the hairstyles. Everything else is just a happy bonus. Lol
I feel like EA did really well with the hairstyles, especially since they're so versatile with all ages glad they are available for them.
Deli you should do a challenge building the teeniest but functional house with this pack 😊

Naught Guile I swear I have had a bed with one side against the wall and have been able to get both my sims in it. Idk if I somehow have a mod or what happened, but I have def seen it. I totally get what you mean tho, the sims is sooo frustrating sometimes 😡😡😡
It's pretty easy to build a micro-home for a couple but if they have kids, that's when it gets hard
This pack is so cute, but I'm not into my sims dying by the Murphy bed.

Lol the sim I started with got a boyfriend, they moved in together and on the first day of living together she dies by the murphy bed! 😂 so I decided to stick with the boyfriend and find him another girlfriend... the new girlfriend meets ex ghost girl and warns her about bed safety! 🤣
There is a mod that removes death by murphy bed on mod the sims I have it but I don't know the link

How can there be no ladder? A lot of tiny houses have lofts so ladders would have been awesome. I loved everything else but ladders and loft items would have been even better

I'm really excited about this stuff pack, it's definitely going to make starter homes more interesting I think and I've been WAITING for some more sweater weather outfits for so long, I'm so happy! :D

Please EA Fix your gameplay first, i need vibrant neighborhood, story progression, bring some live to the game, make an expansion pack that focus more on that, so i can live enjoy the neighborhood of mine in game

fandan20 isn’t story progression what the player is allowed to do freely? And wouldn’t the story just progress outside your own house and gameplay but you don’t see it since you’re not really part of the inner game community?

Something that’s very useful for tiny homes is room dividers, surprised they didn’t include those
Dude it seems like sims can die way too easily by that bed. Like James’ sim died as well

I feel like the Murphy bed has a purchase now compares to ts2&3. There's a debate on what tiny living is and what we should have gotten. For this idea of tiny living, I think the only thing that's missing is ladders.

Guillermo Coronado but they had perfect reason to add bunks and ladders but didn’t. I don’t want to get this pack just because they didn’t take a perfect operrtunity to add two things simmers have been wanting. The devs are being idiots at the moment and I don’t want to fuel their idiocy.
They might have actual problems trying to do ladders and bunk beds
@@hannahreid1549 Go watch their video, they explained this very simply. It all came down to budget and they made the choice of a item that they could do more with and which seemed more popular and that was Murphy beds.
Xitol how is Murphy beds more popular? Like I didn’t even know what a Murphy bed was until ts3 university. I know multiple fans of the series who would buy a pack that just added bunks. But I understand that a Murphy bed only really needs a few animations while bunks would need a few hundred. It is just that it feels like they’re ignoring the fans. Like even with the fan expansions it felt like choices were extremely limited. A lot of summers would prefer a pack that adds something they really want but not much else than a pack that adds a bunch of stuff they will never use.
I don't know, I have a real problem with them essentially charging for something you could already do anyway and just putting a restriction lock on it and calling it a challenge to charge money. You could already make tiny homes in the sims 4, it just didn't have the restriction behind it......
N. Johnson there was also no reason to actually do so- no benefits besides bill reduction and not as much as it should be for the size. This encourages actually doing it outside of build challenges for the significant buffs and bill reduction.
Its not like they’re charging solely for the lot type, this is approximate to most stuff packs we get.

Usually these packs aren't worth it, but this one seems pretty cool.
The CAS options in this pack feel very Laundry Day to me. I wish they had branched out a bit more with that. But the B/B items are so cool, I can't wait to get this pack.

I agree that I'd like to see ladders, since lofts are so popular with tiny homes, but I did hear, and it goes with the plants improvement, that things like a rooftop garden/patio doesn't count for your footprint. Otherwise (and functional bunkbeds), I love this one!

Goodness I wish we were getting this for the long weekend. I have a holiday tomorrow but it wont come out till Tuesday 😭 looks amazing though
I would have loved some more kitchen items with this pack, more specifically combo appliances. In college I had a toaster oven that was also a coffee pot and griddle. It took up about as much space as a microwave, so it would have been PERFECT for tiny living.
Also, at the risk of being a broken record, WE NEED LADDERS AND BUNK BEDS!
The main thing I'm wondering is if I can build a super modern home with dividers instead of walls for the living areas but with some proper rooms for the bathrooms and bedrooms and therefore keep it in the tile limit by using terrain paint? You could make a really gorgeous indoor/outdoor vibe! Just stick a roof over the whole thing and it will be like a massive conservatory -am actually quite excited by this idea!
Ok but here's something I don't understand; how do the murphy beds without the couch attached to it make any sense, if you can't place anything else in front of it? With MoveObjects you can obviously, but how does it save space if it takes just as much space as a regular double bed, even when it's tucked away? Or am I missing something?
Wait, what about KITCHEN stuff?? There should be a sink that takes up half the space, a 2-burner stovetop, micro-microwave, mini-'fridg... They could even have a whole "kitchen unit" that takes up 3 squares (or even 2!) with mini-fridg, sink, stove all-in-one. And how about under-cabinet-installed (or wall-mount) coffeepot, microwave - to free up precious counterspace? And yes, ladders and lofts!! What else could I think of.... How about a "wet room" option, so you can make a room large enough for just the toilet, and stick a shower-head on the wall. Whole room becomes the shower. And the murphy bed - the one with bookshelves on both sides - one side could be a similar-styled closet that acts like the dresser. Haven't played Sims in a dogs' age, and I miss it. But I'm remembering how frustrated I've been at their packs!

I believe this is going to be a fun pack to play and I can't wait to use some of these items, but they really should have put some other items that would conserve space. For example:
1. Countertop burners or griddles
2. All in one bathroom. Includes, shower, sink, and toilet. Hopefully they add this, it can already be done in a 1x1 tile if you use move objects cheat.
3. Compact Fridges and stoves
4. trash cans being able to slide under counters or trash compactor
5. Single Bed murphy bed
6. Bunk Beds and Loft beds (with a space for a desk or couch under it
7. Ladders
Probably some other stuff too. I understand this is a stuff pack, and that restricts what they can add, but they are missing some key things for tiny living still. Hopefully they come later in patches or other packs. I'm not disappointed, because I'm excited to challenge myself to build each tier tiny home and fit as much as I can in them. I am also excited to see what else they do with these new options of lot perks if you meet certain requirements. I really want them to expand on that in some way.
This might be my fav pack because I absolutely love the build and buy, mid century modern and cozy modern are my faves which this really works with

I feel like the Build & Buy stuff from this pack would also go really well with the smaller apartments in City Living, so that's awesome. Mostly because some of the smaller studio apartments are dang difficult to furnish, just due to lack of space. Having furniture that serves as multiple things, that's awesome, plus I just love the look of it.

Sims are really stepping up their cas
I would absolutely love them to go back and re do all the older clothes to have better textures (and higher waisted bottoms) I know that’s a huge request but honestly is greatly needed when all the new cass items have amazing textures and the older ones are just plasticy looking. Also more hair colour swatches would be amazing. I’m excited for this pack, I’m terrible at building and only recently have become somewhat decent so I’m excited to have a pack that will motivate me to be better at building tiny homes

I think this is a great stuff pack, very usefull even if you are not playing with tiny homes. I'm not a big fan of tiny houses but I LOVE the furniture. The only stuff I miss is ladders, bunkbeds and longer hairstyles.
this would go amazing with discover university, just moved out, and city living, buy a small apartment, and able to fit everything in 1 or 2 rooms I'm getting this for my birthday soon.
I love this pack so much! Everything for the most part looks nicely worked through and detailed. I'm not so sure about the "gain relationship skill" due to the fact they're living so closely. Having had to live in close quarters with other people, sometimes that can have a negative effect too lol! It would be cool if you gained negative emotional responses as well from tiny living.
I like when they add wall stuff, clutter, decorations, stuff like that. We need more.

One thing that looks like you cant do that I think would have been a fun challenge is make an apartment building a certain size and see how many tiny apartments can fit in it
Dont forget to look after the Lot advantages right next to the residential Type when you decided to built a tiny home
i wish there was an option for the murphy bed where the bed was always pulled out, and one where the couch can always stay, cuz i love the backboard!

That larger TV unit looks like they reused the shelving item from Get Famous just with slight differences.
I think the murphy bed is programmed like ovens. Literally like every time it breaks on first use, like cooking something in the oven always results in a fire.
Couple of notes from the stream I didn't see you notice! First, check the different art for the murphy beds when they're both up and down, and second, check out that large platform on the standing lamp!
I don't have any stuff packs but I would almost consider buying this one just for the lot rewards of the tiny houses! Love the idea!
I was kinda skeptical of this pack when I first heard the concept, but I honestly love it, the clothes are super nice, and I am absolutely in LOVE with the build buy items

Ooh I am so so excited for this stuff pack 😍 as you say the plain white and black swatches are really noce and they make the things so versatile.
